It is with heavy hearts that we announce Sir Ken Robinson died peacefully yesterday, 21st August 2020, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer.

We will be following up with a further update as we begin to follow Sir Ken’s wishes and honour his legacy.

Really proud of the hard work and the dedication of the teachers at my school with preparing our students for remote learning. A couple of weeks in, our students are engaged and we are continuing to seek feedback as we tailor the experience to their learning needs.

Edgars Creek 2020!

I’m Anthony Asta and I will be joining Edgars Creek Secondary College in the role of Leading Teacher in 2020. I have taught in a number of schools in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, teaching English, Humanities and Digital Technologies. Outside of work, I like to spend value time with my family and friends, whether it is over a delicious meal or watching the footy (Go Blues!). I’m excited to become a part of the growing Edgars Creek community, and to help guide and grow our students in the years ahead.

Look forward to meeting you all soon!

Vale Bob Hawke, your leadership was strong and transcended generations. You were deeply flawed but because of this, very relatable. Your policies changed Australia to what it is today. Without your leadership, I would never have been able to do one uni degree, let alone two, so thank you. Your impact will never be forgotten. Have a yard glass for each of us mate!
