‘Women of the world, here’s to you.
To your intersections, your identities, your rights, and your freedoms. To your inequalities, to your land, to your cultures, to your histories.
Here’s to all women.
To q***r women, le***an women, trans women, women with intersex variations, gender diverse women, ace, bi and pan women.
Here’s to women living with disabilities, to women living with chronic illness.
Here’s to women living with HIV.
Here’s to women of colour, indigenous women, women of faith, women in power and to working class women.
Here’s to women who became someone she couldn’t see. Here’s to women who inspire others to fight like them.
Here’s to ending violence, to achieving pay parity, to economic empowerment, to access and equity.
Here’s to the women in cities, to the women in rural areas.
Here’s to ending homelessness and to ending harassment.
Here’s to believing women.
Here’s to making the world, our streets, and our homes safer.
Here’s to women the world over, to all we have met and those we are yet to meet.
Here’s to you.’
Borrowed from one of the most amazing people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, even if you don’t remember me.

Friendly (+timely) reminder that you should always assume that the cameras are rolling in our tech savvy world, and that if it seems too good to be true? It probably is. It’s so important to maintain your physical and mental fitness while you study. Monash has a great number of sporting clubs and facilities available to assist, but if you’re looking fo something off-campus, in Clayton has a $0 sign up offer on right now! Not everyone wants to go for a jog next to their lecturer (trust me.. he is probably fitter than you) so go for something a little different.
