🌟 This week, we're shining the spotlight on Toni, one of our wonderful Nursery Educators at Goodstart Cathies Lane. 🌟

With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, Toni brings warmth, positivity, and a genuine passion for nurturing young children every day. 💛

🌱 Toni’s philosophy is to nurture and protect the children in her care, helping each child blossom into their own unique individual. She believes in creating a strong sense of belonging within the nursery room and works hard to build trusting, respectful relationships with every child and family.

😊 Toni’s positive attitude, calm nature, and infectious smile make her a much-loved educator. The children are naturally drawn to her and thrive in her caring presence, often seeking her out for comfort, play, and connection.

✨ Toni is also a highly engaging and supportive team member. Her creativity, patience, and dedication shine through in everything she does, and she plays an important role in creating a welcoming and supportive space for both children and colleagues.

🌟 Special Visitor at Goodstart Cathies Lane! 🌟

On Tuesday 9th of June 2026 we welcomed Mary Doyle MP, Federal Member for Aston, to Goodstart Cathies Lane.

During her visit, Ms Doyle presented our Kinder 3 children with their Kinder 3 packs and spent time reading a story with them. The children thoroughly enjoyed sharing this special experience and engaging in conversations about books and learning.

To thank Ms Doyle for visiting, each room proudly presented her with a handmade gift, showcasing the children's creativity and appreciation.

We thank Mary Doyle MP for taking the time to visit our centre and support our young learners. It was a wonderful morning enjoyed by children, educators, and families alike.

✨ Meet Dipti ✨

We are delighted to introduce Dipti, one of our wonderful educators in the Kinder 4 room at Cathies Lane.

Dipti has been part of the Kinder 4 room for the past two years. She speaks Marathi, Hindi, and English, allowing her to connect with children and families from diverse backgrounds and support an inclusive learning environment.

Dipti is passionate about early childhood education and believes that play is a child's natural way of learning. She understands the importance of creating positive relationships with children, helping them feel safe, secure, nurtured, and confident to explore their world.

Lovely Dipti is a valued member of our team who consistently brings engaging and creative ideas into the learning environment. Her positive attitude, warm nature, and genuine care for others enables her to create a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels supported and included.

Our Mandarin Program continues to be a wonderful part of our learning journey, providing children with opportunities to explore language, culture, music, and meaningful connections through play-based experiences.

We are incredibly fortunate to have three passionate educators leading these experiences across our centre. 💛

🎵 Ann incorporates Mandarin into her daily program through songs, routines, and meaningful interactions, helping children build familiarity and confidence with the language in a natural and engaging way.

🌸 Chelsea brings both language and culture to life, creating experiences that help children develop an appreciation for different traditions, customs, and ways of communicating.

👶 Hongli works closely with our youngest learners, engaging them through songs, sensory experiences, and hands-on activities.

Together, Ann, Chelsea, and Hongli have created a rich and engaging program that supports children's language development while fostering cultural awareness and inclusion. We love seeing the excitement and enthusiasm the children bring to each session as they learn new words, songs, and traditions.

With 9 years of experience in early childhood education and 18 months at Cathies Lane, Maryam is a valued and much-loved member of our team.

One of Maryam's greatest strengths is her ability to work confidently across all age groups and rooms within the centre.
As a result, she has developed strong relationships with all our children, who know and trust her just as much as she knows and understands each of them. Her genuine interest in each child's wellbeing allows her to build special bonds that make a lasting impact.

Maryam brings a positive and happy attitude to work every day. Her warm smile, caring nature, and authentic approach help create a welcoming environment for children, families, and fellow educators alike.
