Behind the scenes of every market is a very messy sewing table! is over but my mess is still there...leave it for another day. So lovely to catch up with some regulars and meet new customers. I was so stoked with the two ladies who came back again today to buy more hats! Nga mihi!

So excited to post this. of has generously given me some of her beautiful off-cuts to make bucket hats from for . Such glorious colours and I've had such fun piecing them together. I don't want to waste anything! We will both have reversible hats - upcycled on one side and plant-dyed on the other. Here's one example.

Sewing room chaos! Only a few weeks out now and struggling to keep the mess under control. This is a tidy 'instagrammable' shot. What you can't see is the pile of material ready for cutting, scraps ready for upcycling..

Eek... Just a bit of sewing and labelling still to do! I'll be at Encraftment for both days selling bucket hats for kids, men and women. Made from upcycled table linens and deadstock natural fabrics.

It's the last day of the school holidays. I have the weekend after I get back from being a Yr 6 camp helper. So, I have loved being back in the sewing room again after a long hiatus. My shoulder is slowly mending and longer days are back. Happy days
