Brand new article on mindfulness in Thai music pedagogy. Well done Jarun Kanchanapradit, Stuart Grant
I am delighted that an article I co-authored with Wanida Bhrammaputra, Jarun Kanchanapradit, Stuart Grant, and Neil McLachlan has been published in the International Journal of Music Education. The article is titled- Kayanapussana Satipatthana and the Buddhist practices of Samadhi and Sati as foundational practices in the development of Thai musical skills. It describes the use of Buddhist meditation practices in the music training of students at primary school and university level.
More than 97,000 university staff have suffered a collective $159 million in wage theft, according to a new National Tertiary Education Union analysis.
