The Millinery are back to create immersive theatre that provokes and entertains.

Founded by 2009 graduates of The National Theatre Drama School: Tosh Greenslade, Daniel Niceski,
Lauren Smith and Kassie Whitson - want to be challenged and produce theatre that challenges audiences, delving into the
layers of script, characters and human existence. The Millinery chooses to focus on timeless themes through classic or
contemporary works and self-devised pieces. While theatre itself may be transient, The Millinery seek to leave an indelible
mark on the Melbourne theatre scene.

Melbourne Fringe | Water Torture Just another 40 degree day in the life of two bored Melbourne Inner North Public Pool Lifeguards: ethnic tensions; sexual harrassment; lap lane abuse; blood in the water; and floating turds. Your typical Northside melting pot of cultures, with plenty of chlorine. Tensions rise along...

Now you’ve met the Water Torture cast, we’ve love to introduce you to the design team!
Our Sound Designer, Anita Quayle, is a contemporary freelance cellist and composer who has collaborated with artists across a ton of different projects, our Set & Costume Designer, Kim Ritchie, is an artist and designer who works across the mediums of theatre, painting and film, and our Lighting Designer, Lucas Silva-Myles, has been inspired to apply creativity to his work by designing lighting for theatres and theatre companies.
These three talented individuals bring a bucket load (no pun intended) of experience and passion with them, and are busy working on how to transform the Dock space at Revolt into a public pool on a nightly basis.
