Tonight my grade 3 girl and her grade 5 boy had fun using type writers for the first time. We even took the back off one of the typewriters to see how it works underneath. Lots of words typed.

Tutoring a new grade 2 child. She enjoyed making up non sense works. She wanted 'f' instead of 'fl' in front of the 'uck' ending!

This grade 5 boy got 25/25 out of a graded spelling test. Great effort for the 2nd day of school for the year. This is what children could aim for.

I was in the Herald Sun today. I have been tutoring Jack and Millie online but it was great to tutor then outdoors on Friday. I hadn't seen them in person for 3 months. I'm not a former teacher. I'm still a teacher. The reporter got that wrong.

Nouns and pronouns lesson online lesson grades 2-4. I got the children to draw 10 balloons. Then write ten things in the balloons. Then got them to circle the lower case word and square the Capital. Then talked about the 3 types. Then we used some of the words in our story.
