Did this take me hours to make? Why yes, yes it did 😂 So please LIKE, SAVE & SHARE if it helps you 💕
I often have clients ask me for lower calorie options to their favourite foods so I thought I would try making a little template to guide you.
As much as I love a predominately wholefood diet, there’s only so much “nice cream” I can make before I just want the real deal 🤷🏼♀️ I am not suggesting that any of these options are necessarily “healthy” for you, but they are good for the soul & that’s enough for me 🥰
As always - everything in moderation. If you want a little treat to end your night, here are some of my favourite lower cal options. There’s so many more as well so if you would like a Part 2 please comment below👇🏻 What is your go to ice cream? 🍦

Feeling absolutely stuffed & sluggish after these past few days? Yeah me too 🙊 But this is my reminder to you - give yourself permission to just live in this moment. Don’t feel pressure to get to the gym or only eat “healthy” just because you see others doing that. Do what works best for you at this time and let yourself have some freedom! The festive season only comes around once a year, your goals can wait one more week if they have to 😉 But offcourse, if moving your body and eating a bowl of salad is what makes you feel your best - do that too. Balance is always key 🔑

Did you really even go to the beach if you didn’t take a pic? 😜😂
Honestly though, I write down every single day how grateful I am to live by the ocean. It’s my happy place and where I feel most calm and grounded. Even on rainy days, there’s seriously nothing better 🌊 Where’s your happy place?

Gingerbread Muffins With Cream Cheese Frosting 🤤🎅🏻🍦
Who said us adults can’t have fun and eat cute decorative cupcakes too?! I made these muffins last year and I was so obsessed I just had to make them again haha. They are super kid friendly as well with a little bit of protein too!
👇🏻 RECIPE 👇🏻
• 1 1/2 x cups oat flour (or any flour of choice)
• 1 x tsp baking powder
• 1 x tbsp ginger
• 1 x tbsp cinnamon
• 1/2 x tsp nutmeg
• 2 x tbsp stevia
• 1 x tbsp coconut oil, melted
• 1 x tsp vanilla extract
• 1 x egg
• 150g plain or vanilla greek yogurt
• 1 x tbsp molasses
• 100ml almond milk or until you get a cake like consistency
Cream cheese frosting:
• 50g light cream cheese
• Monkfruit (sugar free) icing sugar OR you could melt white chocolate instead
Top with pretzels and Christmas M&Ms 😍 Each muffin ends up being roughly 125 cals with toppings or 98 cals as is!
Please tag me if you recreate this recipe 🙈

A weekend away is just what the doctor ordered ✨
I don’t know about you guys, but I feel like all I’ve done this year is work haha. None of us have obviously been able to travel or go exploring to break up the weeks, so I feel as though I was kind of glued to my laptop screen and desk all year long. I still wouldn’t change it for the world because in all honestly, this is the first time in my entire life that I’ve ever been able to come home from a holiday and be EXCITED to work 🥺🥰 I literally got home today then went and trained clients all afternoon even though my clients were like “no enjoy your day off”! I just can’t help myself 🤷🏼♀️🙈
Do you have any holidays planned? Where to next? 🚗
Also, how’s Andy peeping in my glasses reflection hahaha

I have a confession to make... I messed up big time 😟
On Saturday night I decided to let myself have the night off from tracking to celebrate my friends birthday. I ate all my usual foods for breakfast and lunch to make sure I didn’t go completely over board that night - and it worked!
But it’s the next day.. the day after drinking is often where we tend to mess up the most.. although I wasn’t hungover at all, I was out of routine from staying at my friends house. I ended up having Maccas for breakfast and then decided that because I had already “stuffed up”, I might as well just keep eating whatever I wanted to rest of the day. So I sat on the couch with a bag of lollies and had frozen pizza for dinner..
The reason I’m telling you this is to show you that we’re all human. I mess up sometimes. Even though I live for health & fitness, I also live for food 😂🤷🏼♀️ It’s just about making sure the next day you keep going! Don’t use it as an excuse to give up and don’t let the guilt creep in. You got this, just keep moving forward 👏🏻

Just your friendly Sunday reminder to be kind to yourself ✨I know a lot of my clients were worried about this weekend because it’s our first taste of freedom in Melbourne 🥳 We were finally able to go out for brunch with the gals or dinner with family, and it’s in those social situations that we often get anxious around food choices.
My advice to my clients and anyone else reading this - don’t even worry about it! After these past few months we definitely all deserve a big juicy Parma and cocktail or four. One night or one weekend will not out do all the hard work you have already put it.
Create memories with your loved ones. Eat delicious food. Have a drink. Memories last a life time (unless you have a memory of a goldfish in which then, maybe not..) 🐠🤙🏻

Feeling so darn content and grateful for this life I live ✨
I wanted to touch on gratitude for a second here... I feel like when you see people on social media preaching how grateful they are, you often think it comes from their wealth or business success etc. Maybe they just bought a brand new car, their first home or go on a million holidays..
But please remember that gratitude can be ANYTHING you want it to be! It doesn’t have to be money, fame, success (whatever that really means). It can be as simple as having delish food on your table every day or your daily walk in the park nearby. Don’t compare your life to others, find a place of contentment in your own little bubble. The smaller the things you are grateful for, the more fulfilled and happier your life will become 😍 What are you grateful for today?

Don’t mind me, I’m just pretending like it’s summer and I’m actually allowed outside 😅
In all seriousness though, the weekends are where I really struggle with this whole lockdown life. It’s been over 10 weeks (nearly 3 whole months) since Melbournians were put into Stage 3 restrictions again. We still have 1 more month to go.. That means that half of this entire year was spent locked up in our homes, unable to see friends or family, or even do basic things like go for a Sunday drive.
It’s hard seeing the rest of the world go about their every day lives. To be able to see their family and friends, to celebrate birthdays and weddings, to go to brunch on weekends, the gym, nights out, weekend adventures. I can’t even remember the last time I got to hug a loved one...
I’ve tried to remain as positive as I can given the situation we are in, but sometimes I feel as though it’s never ending. I don’t remember my life before this lockdown, it’s crazy how quickly we have all adapted. Basically what I’m trying to say is for any Melbournians reading this - I am with you. You’re allowed to feel sad, jealous, angry. To feel like you’ve had enough and to want your old life back. Let’s just hope we can get out of this by Summer so we can actually enjoy Christmas with our families 🙏🏼 Sending out so much love 💕

It’s either mirror selfies, balcony photos or nature photos from behind ( ) 🤷🏼♀️😂 Happy Sunday 🦋 If I’m being honest, I felt a little flat last week. I wasn’t feeling very motivated, inspired or creative - but I’m feeling so ready to make this week a good one! Weekends are for filling your cup back up. What did you do this weekend? 🥰

Start of Covid VS Now 🏋🏼♂️
One positive of this whole lockdown is that I have realised again just how important exercise is for my mental health 👏🏻💭 Although there’s a small physical change between these two photos (honestly, it’s just water retention haha) I am more so focused on exercising for my mental health rather than physical.
If you have been following me for awhile, you would know that last year I didn’t have much of a proper routine with my workouts. Between planning my wedding (in 6 months, oops), working 2 jobs, studying and starting my business - exercise was the last thing I had on my mind.
But being in quarantine the last 6-7 months, I have found a workout routine again and I truely think it’s the reason I have been able to get through rough days. Exercise is scientifically proven to help reduce anxiety and depression, and that’s the very reason why I love it so much! Try getting in atleast 30 minutes of exercise a day and see how much better you feel.
Do you exercise to help your mental health too? 💕
