🎉 We're excited to celebrate a new milestone for PSI Connect! Our Founder and CEO, Dr Benjamin Schultz, is now officially a certified LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator! 🧱✨
At PSI Connect, we believe that learning should be engaging, inclusive, and tailored to the needs of every individual. That’s why we’re thrilled to bring LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® into our toolkit. This hands-on, creative method is especially powerful for neurodivergent individuals, offering new ways to express complex ideas, explore abstract concepts, and deepen understanding in statistics, data analysis, and our psychology. 🧠🚀
We can’t wait to use this approach in workshops, coaching, and learning sessions to help people and organisations unlock their full potential.
Stay tuned to see it in action!

Hey everyone! It’s Dr Ben Schultz here, and I’m excited to share that I’ve officially walked 80km out of my 150km goal for the One Foot Forward campaign in support of mental health. 🧠💙 Every step I take is for those who need help the most, and I'm getting closer to the finish line — but I can’t do it alone.
I need YOUR help to keep moving forward and raise crucial funds for mental health services that change lives. Your donation, big or small, can make a huge impact.
Let’s walk together to support those struggling with their mental health. You can make a difference by donating through the link below. Together, we can reach this goal and help make the world a kinder, more supportive place.

“R U OK?” Day is Today!
Have you noticed a friend who isn't as lively as they usually are? Unsure of how to check in on them?
Sometimes, asking "Are you okay?" can feel awkward or might make someone defensive. Here are some alternative ways to show genuine care and start a conversation:
💡 "You don’t seem like yourself lately. Is something on your mind?"
💡 "You’ve had a lot on your plate recently. How are you holding up?"
💡 "I just wanted to check in. How have you been feeling?"
💡 "I've noticed you've been a bit quiet lately. How are things going?"
💡 "Do you want to grab a coffee and catch up?"
These gentle approaches create space for someone to share, without making them feel like they need to explain or defend themselves.
Remember, it's all about showing that you care and are here to listen.
PSI Connect is proud to guide and support our next generation of psychologists, researchers, and mental health practitioners. Everyone can do their part to promote mental health and wellbeing.

Attention PSI Connect students! 🚨
It's important to be aware of the potential pitfalls when using AI tools like Grammarly for your academic work. Recently, there have been cases where students faced accusations of plagiarism or using AI to write their papers when they were simply using Grammarly for grammar and spell-checking.
Marley Stevens' story sheds light on how AI-detection systems in universities can sometimes misidentify legitimate student work as generated by AI. This can lead to severe consequences like lower grades, academic probation, or loss of scholarships.
While tools like Grammarly can be helpful for improving your writing, it's crucial to understand their limitations and to use them responsibly. Make sure to check your university's policies regarding AI use and always cite your sources properly to avoid any misunderstandings.
Stay informed and stay vigilant! Your academic success is important, and knowing how to navigate AI tools safely is part of that journey. ✍️📚

This is why it is important for students to be empowered. Supervisors should guide students and foster their learning. 👩🎓🧑🎓

Talking about mental health can be difficult. Here's a template to bring it up casually and show your friends they are seen. 🤗
It's not about knowing exactly what to say or how to say it. It's about showing them you care; and that you're there when they need 💙
Save this post for later so you can return to it whenever you need.
