🚗🛑 Road Safety Week 🛑🚗

This week we were recognising Road Safety Week and helping our little learners build important skills to stay safe in and around roads, car parks, and traffic environments. 💛

Through play-based experiences, discussions, stories, and activities, children explored simple road safety concepts such as:
🚦 Stop, Look, Listen and Think
🚶 Holding an adult’s hand near roads and car parks
🚗 Safe car travel and wearing seatbelts
🚲 Bike and scooter safety
👀 Learning to recognise traffic signs and signals

Today our toddlers continued exploring the colour blue as part of our colour project 💙

Using different shades of blue Playdough, the children experimented with mixing, squishing, rolling and creating, while discovering how colours can change when combined. This simple hands-on experience encouraged curiosity, creativity, fine motor development and early science learning as the children observed and tested their ideas through play.

It has been wonderful to watch their excitement as they explore, investigate and share their discoveries with one another ✨
