Life is too short to be anything but happy. Do the things that you, your kids and your family enjoy ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ง

Children need to be able to coordinate both sides of their bodies together to be able to write (when they're ready!).

Try placing large pieces of paper, material, wood, or canvas on the floor or walls and get children to use their hands to collect mud, cornflour, or glue and paint with their hands.

Not only will they increase their eye-hand coordination, they'll have amazing fun!

Make play and learning fun ๐Ÿ˜Š

How much "should" toddlers be eating? Depends on the toddler...โ
โ
Instead of focusing on how much a toddler is eating, I like to focus on whether you're providing a protein food with meals and snacks. โ
โ
Some meals they may eat a ton of a protein food - like 5 portions! Then they won't take more than a nibble at the rest of the meals. โ
โ
This is totally fine! Think about what they eat over the course of the week, not the day. โ
โ
I like to show these portions though because a "portion" for a toddler can be very small. So start small and give them more if they ask for it. โ
โ
How many portions do they need? Honestly, I wouldn't fixate on that. Toddlers generally need ROUGHLY 16g of protein a day (that's like 2 glasses of milk). As long as you're serving protein with most meals and snacks and you allow your child to choose how much to eat, you'll be fine!โ
โ
If you have a picky eater though, things can get tricky. In my profile link you can find the picky eater article I wrote with my entire team of experts, plus get a free picky eater guide. โ

What a great idea ๐Ÿ’ฏ Repurpose old and unused furniture into play items!

Old drawer turned into a book chair. This is genius!

Isn't it great what and how you can get creative ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
Imagine the type of pictures and creations children could come up with with just a few stones......Railway yards, Farms, People, Dinner, painting them, gluing them, etc The list goes on and on...

How do you feel about posting your child's photo online? You know it's going to be out there forever, right?

All the photo's I share are professional so the parent has approved the sharing. What happens if your child's photo get's shared with the wrong type of people??

I'd love to hear some of your comments as child protection is really important to me and spreading the word is vital.

Just a friendly reminder to think before you share.

Rather than providing children with a "recipe" art activity, give them different parts and bits they can create with so you help them develop their language, imagination, story telling, spacial awareness,.... and the list goes on!

โœจ Art for development, definitely the way to go!
