With sad hearts but knowing it’s the right time for this season of life we announce The Picnic will not be running in 2025!

First week back looked like reconnecting through play and board games - enjoying being together again - followed by intro to the Olympics, sport and what’s under the microscope. Will you join us next week?

What a way to end Term 2. The Picnic held a Winter Wonderland feast with activities all relating to ice and snow. Just perfect for this time of year! Experiments with time interval observations, creating beds/chairs out of recycled materials for Goldilocks and the 3 dinosaurs, measuring porridge with varying sized cups and spoons, ordering size, mark making in oats, designing bridges inspired by bridges around the world, games/sport and making new friends. What more could you ask for in a 4 hour session of fun learning and connecting. Oh…and the sun came out so we got a dose of vitamin D! 🤩
