Cousin Tony’s Brand New Firebird released ‘Smiles of Earth’ today, and I’m amazed to say that it features the first album credit of my career!
I’m so grateful to have played a small part in this album, a huge thanks to & for getting me involved and giving me one of the best experiences I’ve had so far. Check out the album, it’s truly beautiful, and unlike anything you’ve heard before!

Lockdown has been tough, but RagTag has been using this downtime to keep learning and working on the craft, in order to come out the other side better and ready to go!
This weeks task was to revamp the home setup to be more user friendly, and have instruments ready to go. Swipe along for before and afters 👉

Not the most glamorous setup, but I’m very glad to have my electric drum kit during another lockdown!
I took up drumming around 3 years ago, self-taught but only ever just playing along to songs I like (that were well out of my league). But during lockdown I decided to go back to basics, to really work on my fundamentals & technique.
By slowing things back down and working to really understand what I’m playing, I’ve noticed a massive improvement! And even though I’ve still got a long way to go, the songs I used to sweat over suddenly feel a bit easier to play, which is all the motivation I need to stick with it 🥁

You can find me every Sunday afternoon running sound at ! It’s a great introduction to working in live sound, and I get to meet so many great people & talented musicians. Every Sunday is jazz, and it’s awesome to be immersed in a genre I’m totally unfamiliar with. Learning so much & loving every moment of it! 🎷🎷
