✨What will the next 10 years look like for Mars✨
It's been a busy decade on Mars.
Since NASA’s Curiosity Mars Rover touched down in 2012, it's driven nearly 18 miles (29 km), analyzed 41 rock and soil samples, and taken more than 500,000 pictures. As it's rolled through Gale Crater and the slopes of Mount Sharp, Curiosity has found evidence for long-ago lakes and tracked changing radiation levels, continuing our quest for signs of ancient Martian life while collecting the data we'll need for humans to set foot on the Red Planet.
Curiosity's mission was recently extended for another three years. Find out how we've kept this rover rolling for so long—and learn more about what's to come: https://go.nasa.gov/3BMiNIS

Incredible🤩🤩 so excited to see the full set of full colour images and data coming ! ✨
It's here – the deepest, sharpest infrared view of the universe to date: Webb's First Deep Field.
Previewed by President Joe Biden on July 11, the image shows us galaxies once invisible to us. The full set of full-color images and data from NASA's James Webb Space Telescope will be revealed July 12: nasa.gov/webbfirstimages

Growth of Ternary Compound Semiconductors (MSL SCA-GTCS) grows semiconductor cyrstals based on zinc selenide (ZnSe) compounds in microgravity. ZnSe-based crystals have been potential applications for high-power lasers operating in infrared wavelengths💡
The investigation🔎 compares structural quality of crystals grown on Earth and in microgravity to establish how gravity-driven fluid flows contribute to formation of various types of crystalline defects.
🌏 Applications !
Quality ZnSe-based crystals are integral to special optical applications, including optical windows, infrared (IR) lasers, and optical wavelength conversion devices💡
