3.5 years ago undertook our first incursion at a local kindergarten. In exciting news we have been invited to the Business Excellence Awards, nominated in the Diversity and Inclusion category. We are so excited to attend, and look forward to meeting our fellow nominees. Thank you to all of our supporters, and to the kindergartens and schools who have welcomed us over the years. And to Baruch: you are the reason this little business exists. You are removing barriers to inclusion and changing attitudes every single time we engage with students and teachers. I am beyond proud of you! 🤩

Last week Baruch and I visited the beautiful Highmount Preschool and taught 27 gorgeous kids about Inclusion, Accessibility, Kindness and Valuing Difference.

We loved it, and they loved Baruch!

I am currently undertaking research into inclusive education as part of my studies with Deakin University, Melbourne. I am doing a critical policy analysis of the Victorian Department of Education’s Inclusive Education policy roll out over the past 5 years. This resource will be very helpful.

Every child deserves the best possible education.

Talking to students, families, teachers and principals, we know schools benefit when learning from each other through real-life, positive examples of how to improve inclusive education.

Our Inclusive Education Pathways resources highlight and celebrate some of the effective strategies being undertaken by Victorian schools to make quality, inclusive education a reality for students with disabilities. These user-friendly resources contain case studies, information and ideas to support schools around Victoria to implement leading practice in disability inclusion in everyday education settings.

I am excited to let my friends, family and followers know that I have applied to and been accepted into Deakin University to study my Master in Disability and Inclusion.

I am really looking forward to deep diving into an area I have so much passion for, and experience in.

A national week of action on bullying starts today!

Bullying is a pervasive issue for children and young people, and this week we call on parents and carers to get the facts and advice on how to deal with bullying.

It takes courage to spark change, so be bold, be kind and speak up if you see bullying affecting someone you care for.
