Applications for the Leslie Eric Paddle Scholarship in Orthopaedic Paediatrics are open until 30th September 2024!
Established by the late Leslie Eric Paddle, this scholarship is worth up to $40,000 and is open to students conducting graduate research in the field of orthopaedic paediatrics.

The AOA Orthopaedic Women's Link (OWL) essay competition is back for its fifth year, with the theme:
'The nuts and bolts of what it takes to be an orthopaedic surgeon'.
We invite all female-identifying medical students from Australian medical schools, interns, and prevocational doctors not yet on the AOA 21 Training Program and currently working in Australian hospitals to enter. Submissions are now open and close 5pm AEST Tuesday 2 July.
Let us know your thoughts in max. 750 words and you could win
- complimentary registration to the AOA ASM in Brisbane in October
- return flights (outside of Brisbane) and two nights' accommodation to attend the ASM
- opportunity to present your essay during the OWL Soiree at the ASM in Brisbane
