Last week, our group of Year 9 students who are participating in the online Young Victorian Leaders to China Program went to Chinatown in the city to have a day out, meet other students participating in the program from other schools and learn more about the Chinese culture and language✨

Every year our Year 12 PDS classes take on a community based project in Term 3. This year one of our classes has been focusing on the 'Do it for Dolly' campaign, a campaign with the mission to 'raise awareness, spark conversations, and support young people impacted by bullying'💙

Today at lunchtime, in the agora, this Year 12 PDS class will be running activities and stalls during both lunchtimes to raise awareness and hopefully spark some conversations on how we can help put an end to bullying✨

Wear it Purple Day💜

On 25 August, we proudly celebrated Wear It Purple Day, and what an incredible success it was!

Our day was filled with fun activities, delicious fairy bread, and the awesome DJ Dani djdletunes who helped create an amazing atmosphere for everyone to enjoy. It was fantastic to see our young people getting involved, celebrating diversity, and showing their support for the LGBTQIA+ community🎉🎧

A huge thank you to caseyyouthservices for coming along and supporting our event. Their team did a wonderful job connecting with our young people and helping promote the importance of safety, inclusion, acceptance and support for the LGBTQIA+ community✨

It was a fantastic opportunity to come together, have fun, raise awareness and promote such an important cause. Thank you to everyone who helped make Wear It Purple Day such a memorable and successful celebration!💜
