A-LEAGUE SEASON DONE AND DUSTED. NOW IT’S GAME ON.

For those not in finals — this is your moment.

Exit meetings are done.
Contracts are uncertain.
Opportunities are there… but only if you earn them.

You’ve got two choices:

Spend the next 4–6 weeks in Bali or Thailand partying, drifting, hoping things fall your way…

Or commit to an off-season that actually changes your career.

This is the window. Don’t waste it.

The off-season is where players set their lives up.
Where contracts are won.
Where overseas moves are built.

Asia. Europe. Another A-League deal.
It all comes back to what you do right now.

Come and see Tim Schleiger at The Sports Clinic of Football.
• 30 years in the game
• Ex-player
• Built and trained generations of elite footballers Socceroos, A-League stars, European professionals
• Backed by 30 years of real data, experience, and results

This isn’t guesswork.
This is proven methodology — built over decades — that, when implemented properly, takes your game to the next level.

This is serious work:
• Strength that holds up across a full season
• Conditioning for elite repeat efforts
• Fixing the weak links that cost you minutes
• Preparing you to dominate pre-season from
day 1

You’ve got 4–6 weeks. That’s it.

Use it properly and your next season looks different.
More minutes. Better performances. Real opportunities.

Or waste it… and stay exactly where you are.

Your call.

Book in. Turn up. Get to work.

Regards,
Tim Schleiger

Blessed by the gods with perfect weather and an even better turnout, surrounded by an incredible group of people for the Stevie Brimmer Golf Day.

What a day. What a cause.

This one hits deeper than most — raising funds for the family and continuing the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.

Massive shout-out to all the athletes who stepped up and donated signed A-League shirts, Socceroos gear, and AFL tops, genuine generosity that made a real impact.

Days like this remind you what the football community looks like at its best.
People showing up. Giving back. Standing shoulder to shoulder.

Sleep well knowing every dollar raised is going towards something that truly matters.

And to Stevie — your strength is unreal.
To Mary and the family — the courage you show in the face of adversity is next level.

Keep fighting the beast. 💪

Congratulations to this young gun, .leonard07 on making his debut with on the weekend 💪💪⚽️

Immensely proud of this young man and genuinely excited to see where this journey takes him 🚀

After an SOS call from Dylan and his agent to get him back ASAP from a Weber fracture and syndesmosis surgery, it was game on. With 30 years of experience in elite level rehab, combined with the right surgical approach and technological advances, and Dylan’s elite work ethic and commitment to the process, I knew we could compress the timeline and get him back doing what he does best.

And that’s exactly what happened 💥

Back on the pitch, making his debut, and ready to impact Schalke’s push for promotion into the Bundesliga.

This is what it’s all about.

Well done, Dylan.
coach is very proud of you.
Only the beginning mate.

It’s with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to at

One of the great privileges of working in high performance and medical departments in sport is the relationships you build with athletes over time. I started with Scott some 13 years ago when he was a young player at , where he quickly became one of the youngest and fastest to reach 100 A-League games.

Over the journey, there have been countless phone calls, off-seasons, shared moments, and a few last-minute club discussions. I’ve seen the highs, the lows, and everything in between — which makes it even more special to have witnessed his success, including winning the A-League Championship and scoring in a Grand Final with

There was one brutal two-month off-season that always stood out to me — where his hard work and commitment to better himself created a rejuvenated Scott Galloway, which led into his time with

Scott has had an outstanding career across his A-League journey with Wellington Phoenix FC, Central Coast Mariners FC, Adelaide United FC, and Auckland FC, before signing with Preston Lions FC in the NPL.

More recently, he fought hard to return from persistent injuries, but sometimes, despite elite rehab, strength work, and absolute commitment, the body makes the final call.

What’s made this journey even more meaningful is having someone I’ve worked with for over a decade come back into the environment and contribute — passing on his experience to the next generation, playing a role alongside me at the Sports Clinic of Football, and delivering outstanding sessions with our young players, including work with Dylan Leonard.

Now, as he heads to Perth with Taylor Govetek to begin their next chapter together, we wish them both nothing but the very best.

You’ll be sorely missed by everyone at the Sports Clinic of Football.

All the best, mate — catch up soon.

Exciting news with the upcoming launch of Tim Schleiger High Performance Consulting.

Over recent years, alongside my work at the Sports Clinic of Melbourne and the Sports Clinic of Football, I’ve had the privilege of working with outstanding organisations across sport and beyond—helping build elite environments through systems, people, technology, and, most importantly, culture.

At its core, this next chapter is about one thing:

Creating environments where people become their best.

It’s what I’ve dedicated the last 30 years to—designing and shaping high-performance environments that deliver real outcomes.

Through this platform, I’ll be sharing work across key areas:
• Building and elevating high-performance departments within elite clubs and academies
• Designing and developing world-class gym and wellness spaces—from blank canvas to fully integrated performance environments
• Delivering leadership, resilience, and team-building sessions for athletes and organisations

In preparing for the launch, I’ve had the chance to revisit some incredible moments—photos of the people, places, and environments that have shaped this journey.

Grateful for the experiences. Energised for what’s ahead.

Stay tuned.

It’s fantastic to send .leonard07 back to fit, strong, and ready to return to senior football.

Seven to eight weeks ago Dylan suffered a syndesmosis injury with a Weber B fracture. Following surgery he was initially told his timeline for return would likely be 12–14 weeks. Enter

Having managed hundreds of these injuries over the years, it’s incredible to reflect on how far things have come. More than a decade ago players like Carl Valeri and James Troisi suffered the same injury, and the recovery timelines were dramatically longer. Back then it wasn’t uncommon to see players miss nine to twelve months with syndesmosis injuries of this type. Advances in surgical techniques — particularly the syndesmosis tightrope — combined with smarter high-performance management have completely changed the landscape.

But none of that matters without the athlete doing the work.

Dylan has put in a mountain of work over the past seven to eight weeks with the TSCF team, particularly Scott Galloway and Shaq, and it’s been fantastic to have a group I trust where I can guide the process with the experience and intellectual property we’ve built over decades.

To see him go from an expected 14-week return to now looking likely to rejoin first-team training at Schalke on the other side of the upcoming transfer window is a huge credit to his professionalism.

Dylan, congratulations on the way you’ve attacked your rehab. You’ve behaved exactly like the true professionals I remember from 20 years ago — throwing the kitchen sink at the process to give yourself every chance of success in European football.

With a bit of luck, we’ll see you pushing for more first-team football in Germany, and who knows, maybe even putting yourself into the conversation for the Socceroos squad for the upcoming World Cup in the United States.

A big thank you also to orthopaedic surgeon David Young for his guidance, and to Ben Khalfallah and the Schalke staff for the late-night Zoom calls helping coordinate the process from Germany.

Proud of the work from the whole team.

As we step into a new year, I just want to wish everyone a healthy, happy, and fulfilling 2026.

Set your goals. Work hard toward them.
Dig in. Do the extras.
Don’t make excuses.
Be open to feedback. Be willing to grow, adapt, and change.

And most of all—seek the path less travelled. That’s often where the real learning happens.

2025 was another powerful year. Full of lessons, perspective, and growth. A chance to shed habits that no longer served me and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who played a part in my life this past year—family, friends, athletes, colleagues, and the wider football community. Thanks for all the support, and the challenges along the way that have helped shape the journey.

Much love to all of you.
Here’s to the journey ahead—and a few highlights from the year that was.

🙏❤️💪⚽️

Life is full of challenges — and every year, as a family, we like to set a few that stretch us physically, mentally, and collectively.

Just post-Christmas, we spent some beautiful days up in Dinner Plain and decided to raise the bar with a proper one: the 23-kilometre hike to Mount Feathertop.

Seven hours on the trail. Big climbs, tired legs, and some absolutely breathtaking views.

What stood out most wasn’t just the scenery — it was the mindset. Everyone locked in. Everyone was tested. And everyone got it done. Physically demanding, mentally challenging, and incredibly rewarding.

Mum and Dad might not be as young as they once were, but having done this hike before, they dug deep, led from the front, and showed exactly what resilience and preparation look like.

Proud moment. Great effort.
Well done, Schleiger family. ❤️💪👏🤙

ELITE FOOTBALL WEEK – DECEMBER & JANUARY

If you’re a young footballer serious about taking your game to the next level, this December 8-12 we’re opening the doors and sharing the IP that actually matters.

For one full week, you will TRAIN, THINK, PREPARE, and RECOVER LIKE A PROFESSIONAL PLAYER — not just an academy player, not just an NPL player, but a footballer ready for SENIOR FOOTBALL.

I’ll be working in conjunction with SCOTT GALLOWAY, A-LEAGUE CHAMPION and Grand Final goalscorer, to give you the HANDBOOK and the ROADMAP to becoming a genuine professional.

During the week you will learn:
• What separates senior pros from talented juniors
• The PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES required for elite performance
• The MINDSET and BEHAVIOURS that get you selected
• Professional testing, preparation, recovery, and conditioning
• How to build the HABITS that create resilience and consistency
• What “READY FOR SENIOR FOOTBALL” actually looks like on and off the pitch

This week is a REAL insight into the world you say you want to be part of.

If you want to be involved, DM me or The Sports Clinic of Football to register your interest for the DECEMBER INTAKE.
A second program will run in JANUARY.

A quick photo dump of all the brilliant experiences and people involved in 2024. Thanks to all those involved who made it so special. Thank you also to all those that made it particularly difficult and have given me the perspective and opportunity to grow and view the world with a different lense.

Happy New Year to everyone in 2025 and may it be full of happiness, health and success whatever that may look like for each of you. 💪👍🙏❤️🐂
