Wishing you a Blessed Poson Full Moon Day! 🙏🌿
Poson commemorates the arrival of Arahant Mahinda Thera, who brought to Hela Divaina (present-day Sri Lanka) not merely a religion or a tradition, but the timeless teaching of the Buddha—the Dhamma.
The Buddha taught with one ultimate purpose: the complete end of suffering through the realisation of Nibbāna. At the heart of His teaching is the understanding of anicca, dukkha, and anattā.
Anicca is far deeper than simply “everything changes.” It means that everything conditioned is fundamentally incapable of providing the lasting satisfaction our minds seek. The more we expect permanent happiness from people, possessions, achievements, status, or even our own bodies, the more attachment (chandarāga) grows, and with it, suffering. When this truth is deeply realised, craving gradually fades, the mind becomes free, and the path to Nibbāna unfolds.
The Buddha did not teach us how to change the world, but how to transform and free our own minds from greed, hatred, and delusion. That inner transformation is the true purpose of the Dhamma.
On this sacred Poson Poya Day, may we all have the opportunity to listen to the true Dhamma, reflect upon it with wisdom, and practise it in our daily lives, walking steadfastly on the Noble Path.
May the blessings of this Poson Full Moon Day help us deeply realise the truths of anicca, dukkha, and anattā, gradually abandon craving and attachment, and may we all be blessed with the causes and conditions to attain the Supreme Peace of Nibbāna in this very life. 🙏

අනුබුදු මිහිඳු මහ රහතන් වහන්සේ විසින් හෙළ දේශයට ගෙන ආවේ හුදෙක් ආගමක් හෝ සම්ප්රදායක් නොව, ලෝකෝත්තර ධර්මයයි.
ඒ ධර්මයේ එකම අරමුණ වන්නේ සසර දුකට හේතුව හඳුනාගෙන, අනිච්ච, දුක්ඛ, අනත්ත යන යථාර්ථය අවබෝධ කර, චන්දරාගය ක්රමයෙන් ප්රහාණය කරමින් උතුම් නිර්වාණය සාක්ෂාත් කිරීමයි. බුදුන් වහන්සේ දේශනා කළේ ලෝකය වෙනස් කිරීමට නොව, අපගේ සිත රාග, ද්වේෂ, මෝහයන්ගෙන් නිදහස් කරගැනීමේ මාර්ගයයි.
මෙම පින්බර පොසොන් පොහොය දිනයේ, අප සැමටත් ඒ උතුම් ධර්මය අසා, විමසා, නුවණින් පිරික්සා, තම ජීවිත තුළ ප්රායෝගිකව වඩමින්, ආර්ය මාර්ගයේ ස්ථිරව ගමන් කිරීමට ශක්තිය හා වාසනාව උදාවේවා!
පොසොන් පුර පසළොස්වක පොහොයේ උතුම් පින්බලයෙන්, අනිච්ච, දුක්ඛ, අනත්ත යථාර්ථය මනාව අවබෝධ කරගෙන, චන්දරාගය ක්රමයෙන් ප්රහාණය කරමින්, මේ අත්භවයේදීම දුක් කෙළවර කරන උතුම් නිර්වාණය සාක්ෂාත් කරගැනීමට අප සැමට හේතු වාසනා උදාවේවා! 🙏
