Maylands Toastmasters

Thanks so much to everyone who attended yesterday's meeting.

For a few meetings running now we've had several new guests attending and we've also seen several people become new members.

We've also seen some changes in the Club Officers, huge thanks to Nirvaan, Moashka and Tony for stepping up into the roles vacated.

Also huge gratitude to Amanda and Tanya for fulfilling the same roles previously and the incredible number of hours spent keeping the club ticking.

I'm also very proud to say that the club has achieved "Distinguished Club" status for the year, which has been accomplished through the combined efforts of every member.

Keep up the momentum everyone and I look forward to seeing you all at the next meeting on the 19th!

Thanks so much to everyone who joined us for our Christmas in July meeting last night.

We welcomed a new member and some fabulous new guests to the team.

We also indulged in some delicious food from across the world, and enjoyed a wonderful heartwarming speech from our ever present veteran toastmaster Ann.

Huge thanks to everyone who made this another memorable and enjoyable event!

Huge thank you to everyone who came to our Easter meeting. We had speeches and treats galore and also welcomed several new members to the club!

At our previous meeting we wished an early happy birthday to our longest serving member, the formidable Ann! What better way to celebrate than with chocolate cake, profiteroles and great company. We also had the pleasure of a completely unplanned off the cuff speech from one of our newest members Andrew, which left us all inspired and entertained. Thanks to all who attended and a very happy birthday to Ann! Hope you've had a wonderful day.

A little belated, but thank you so much to everyone who made it to our Christmas meeting last week. Much fun was had by all, with a lively and unique event and plenty of participation. Special mention to our annual award winners and thanks to all who helped in the organisation. We hope you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year, and see you in 2025 for more fun and frolics! 🎄🎄🎄

At last night's meeting we said a fond farewell to long term member and all round legend Julie. Over the past 8 years or so Julie's influence on the club has been huge and her positivity always keeps the meetings fun! Thank you so much for your contribution Julie, we look forward to welcoming you back for our Christmas party!
