Experience the wonders of science when we celebrate National Science Week.

Try borrowing our Discovery Museum Mad 4 Science kits. Kids can learn and explore amazing subjects like magnetism, life cycles, light and colour and more!

Then join Preschool Science Storytime session on Tuesday 18 August from 10am at Turramurra Library. We'll be learning about similarities and differences, as well as singing songs and learning through activities.

Little Bang now on at Newcastle Libraries

Bookings are now open for our brand-new science club for little ones!

The Little Bang Discovery Club is a four-week play-based program for junior discoverers aged 3-5 and their carers.

Have fun with hands-on science for preschoolers: noticing, sorting, naming, collecting, comparing, questioning and experimenting! The mini scientists will develop their skills over four sessions, each session building on the last one.

📅 Wednesdays 20 May to 10 June, 10:15-11:15am
🧑‍🦰 3-5 years and their carers. Recommended one carer per mini scientist.
🎟 $25 total per preschooler for the four sessions, carers free.
