📚✨ BOOK WEEK DRESS UP DAY! ✨📚

Book Week is coming to Halls Head Primary School, and we can’t wait to celebrate the wonderful world of books and reading!

This year’s 2026 Book Week theme is “Sympathy of Stories” – celebrating the stories that help us connect, imagine and discover. 💙📖

🌟 Friday 28 August
📚 Come dressed as your favourite book character
🎉 Book Week Parade – 9:00am
📍 At the flag pole, outside the undercover area

Families are welcome to join us for the parade and see our students (and staff!) bring their favourite stories and characters to life.

We can’t wait to see all the creative costumes! 📚🦁🏰✨

🦕 TheirCare Weekly Recap – Term 3, Week 3 🦷✨

It’s been another busy week at Halls Head TheirCare, with plenty of hands-on learning, creativity and fun!

The children enjoyed a range of STEM experiences designed to encourage exploration and problem-solving. A special African souvenir shared by Jace also sparked some wonderful conversations about travel, different countries and cultures around the world.

To celebrate Dental Week, the children got creative making 3D moulds of teeth while learning about the importance of looking after their smiles. 🪥😁

Our Presentation Assemblies will be held on Friday 11 December, and we are inviting families and members of our community to help sponsor our special book awards.

2026 YOH Fest Tickets:

Halls Head primary School are performing on Wednesday 2nd September.

N.B. Students performing that night, and their directly supervising teachers, are entitled to discounted tickets at $7 each to watch before/after their act. (You must be wearing a wristband which will be given to you at rehearsal to enter with a discounted ticket). To be able to access these tickets if you purchase online, you will need to type this code in the promo code box THAT WILL APPEAR IN THE FINAL STAGES OF CHECK OUT: perf26tix

Congratulations to all of our students who proudly represented Halls Head Primary School at the Interschool Cross Country on Wednesday. Your determination, sportsmanship and effort were outstanding.

A special congratulations to our team for taking out Division 2 Champions – a fantastic achievement! We are incredibly proud of you all. 🏃🏆

🌱 Our first Treehouse session for 2026 was a wonderful success! 💚

It was fantastic to welcome our future Kindy 2027 students and their families to Halls Head Primary School. Everyone had a great time meeting new friends, dancing, singing, playing and getting creative with craft.

We can't wait to see everyone again at our next Treehouse session as we continue getting to know each other before Kindy next year! 🌳✨

🏉 Comet Bay College Australian Football Specialist Program – 2027 🏉
Registrations are now open for students entering Years 7, 8 or 9 in 2027. The program is open to both boys and girls, with applications welcome from all areas.
