🌊🐠 Exploring Beneath the Ocean at TheirCare! 🐠🌊

Did you know that TheirCare, our before and after school care service, is conveniently located right here on our school grounds?

This week, students have been diving into the fascinating world beneath the ocean, discovering marine life and learning about the important role our oceans play in supporting life on Earth. Through hands-on activities, creativity, and discussion, children have been exploring the wonders of the underwater world while having lots of fun with their friends.

Of course, no afternoon is complete without a delicious snack! Students have been enjoying a variety of tasty options including yoghurt, fresh fruit, popcorn, muffins, crackers and dip.

TheirCare provides a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, create, and connect before and after school.

To find out more about TheirCare and the programs they offer, visit their website or speak with our school office.

πŸ‰ Special visitors at Halls Head Primary School! πŸ‰

Yesterday, we were excited to welcome North Melbourne FC players Zane Duursma and Charlie Comben to our school.

Our students had a fantastic time kicking the footy with the players, practising their skills, and learning from two AFL stars. There was plenty of excitement as students had the opportunity to chat with Zane and Charlie and hear about life as professional footballers.

To top off a memorable visit, the boys generously stayed behind to sign autographs, creating some special memories for our students.

A big thank you to Zane and Charlie for taking the time to visit our school and inspire our young football fans. We wish them and the North Melbourne Football Club all the best for the rest of the season!

Also a big shout out and thanks to Rita Saffioti MLA & Lisa Munday MLA for giving our school the opportunity to host the players.

What an incredible morning we had at our Mother’s Day Breakfast on Friday! πŸ’πŸ³πŸ₯“

It was wonderful to welcome so many mothers, aunties, grandmothers, carers and families into our school community to celebrate Mother’s Day together over a bacon and egg burger before school.

The morning was an amazing success and the turnout was fantastic β€” we were so busy! Thank you to all of our families who came along and helped create such a warm and positive atmosphere. We hope you all enjoyed the morning as much as we did.

Our students were exceptional throughout the event and represented our school beautifully.

A huge thank you to Elevation Church Mandurah for supplying an army of volunteers who cooked breakfast and helped prepare burgers for our families. Your support was greatly appreciated.

Thank you also to TheirCare for supporting the breakfast by supplying the food enjoyed throughout the morning.

A special thank you to Halls Head College for supporting the event with their portable coffee cart. It was fantastic to have high school students on hand preparing coffees for our mums and families throughout the morning.

Finally, thank you to our amazing staff for helping with setup, preparing burgers and spending time connecting with our families before the school day began.

Events like this are a wonderful reminder of the strong community spirit we have here at Halls Head Primary School
