Thursday needed a friend... so bolognese is here, need I say more? 😊

What a wonderful morning the year 3 students in Mrs Annels Room 3.4 had at Avalon Bay today. The students, together with parent helpers and the Men of Trees volunteers, planted more than 600 seedlings along the dunes to support dune retention and restoration.

Although the weather forecast predicted wet and windy conditions, we were fortunate to enjoy sunshine and no rain!

Everyone had a great time planting the seedlings and took pride in knowing they were being Environmental Warriors, helping to protect and restore the dunes for the future.

Sheila Griffin Maths - Parent Workshop

A number of our parents joined us this morning for a fantastic Maths Workshop facilitated by Sheila Griffin Maths. Parents explored a range of engaging maths games, learned practical strategies to support their children’s learning at home, and received resources to continue the fun with their families.
It was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm and participation throughout the session.

One of the three Japanese extension workshops set to be held this year was at Ocean Road Primary School recently. Fumi Sensei instructed students in how to make Okonomiyaki, which is a savoury Japanese pancake. A number of year 5 and 6 students were selected to join, and a great experience was had by all!

A big THANK YOU to our fantastic Falcon PS community who donated approximately 300 (still counting) cans of soup to support the Peel Community Kitchen....that is a huge effort!
This worthy cause was organised by our City of Mandurah Junior Council super heroes Buddy and Max. Well done boys.
