Lyn Hansen School of Dance is Celebrating Miss Lyn’s 45 years of history. This is a show not to be missed. We look forward to putting on a spectacular show the students have worked so hard on.

Meet miss Iris,

Iris started dancing because she wanted to dance again, her favourite dance style is jazz.
Iris started dancing with miss Lyn this year and is learning theatrical (Tap, Jazz and Lyrical).
Iris says Miss Lyn does a lot of work to get the dances done and she is pretty creative.
Iris would like to improve her tap

Meet miss Matilda,

Matilda started dancing because her mum told her too, her favourite dance style is hip hop.
Matilda started dancing with miss Lyn when she was 3 years old and is learning theatrical (Tap, Jazz and Lyrical), classical and hip hop.
Matilda says Miss Lyn take care of us.
Matilda would like to improve acro.

Meet miss Nirvana,

Nirvana started dancing for some fun and to make friends, her favourite dance style is jazz.
This is Nirvava’s 2nd year dancing with Miss Lyn and is learning theatrical (Tap, Jazz and Lyrical). Nirvana describes Miss Lyn as nice and friendly .
Nirvana would like to improve her timing.

Meet miss Leah,

Leah started dancing because it’s fun, her favourite dance style is lyrical.
Leah started dancing with miss Lyn this year and is learning theatrical (Tap, Jazz and Lyrical), Leah enjoys Miss Lyn’s hugs.
Leah would like to improve her tap.

We had 5 students go to Bunbury Jazz Attack Studio on Wednesday to complete grade 1 classical grade 2 classical foundations tap and junior tap exams. The student have spent hours perfecting their exam work. Fantastic effort to you all.

Congratulations to the students who competed in the Mandurah Festival of Dance all your dedication, practices and hard work paid off. You should be proud of yourselves

Over the last 2 weeks several of our students have participated in the very competitive Mandurah Festival of Dance 2019. Everyone danced beautifully and should be very proud of themselves. Well done to Kyeisha and Matilda in receiving 2nd place for their Lyrical duo (10 and under) and to Matilda for an honourable mention for her modern/jazz solo (8 and under). Great job girls! ⭐️⭐️⭐️
