As we celebrate School Services Officers (SSO) Week, I would like to take this opportunity to thank and acknowledge the outstanding contribution of our dedicated SSO team here at Magill School.

Our SSOs play a vital role in the daily life and smooth running of our school. Their unwavering commitment, professionalism and genuine care help make Magill School a welcoming, supportive, and thriving environment for students, staff, and families alike.

From supporting teachers in classrooms, managing resources, managing the library and administration, to helping look after the wellbeing of our students, our SSO team’s dedication does not go unnoticed. They are truly the backbone of our school community, and we are immensely grateful for their hard work and commitment.

This year, our Wellbeing Committee decided that a video would be the perfect way to thank and celebrate our SSOs. I would like to extend a special thanks to Mr Shortt for his efforts in creating the video, and for his co-star Mila from F3, who does a wonderful job of providing the voiceover. Their work has provided us with a wonderful way to express our appreciation.

On behalf of the entire Magill School community, I extend my heartfelt thanks to our SSOs for their contribution to making our school a better place for all.
