Out of 150 trikes, EFR settled into 86th position overall, and 38th in its Community Team category, with a grand total of an incredible 427 laps in 24 hours, with the fastest lap done in an incredible 2:15.826, and that was lap #129, who was it pedalling? Who has the Human Power? With the average speed of 45.323kph, Fast and Fleurieu is a force to be reckoned with! And no crashes! A first for Fast and Fleurieu! Go EFR!!!

Race update from head office: 18 hours into the race and 320 laps later, Fast and Fleurieu is tracking well to stay on 3 wheels, maintain its position, keep the paintwork, and impress its sponsors! EFR is on a roll to cross the finish line in less than 6 hours!! Go EFR!!!

ANOTHER UPDATE: 6.5 hours later, 117 laps completed. Still going strong. No breakdowns. .... Old news nearly 5 hours in to the race and 90 laps! Fastest lap so far was lap 23 at 2 mins 27 secs. Position 84 overall.... 3 hours into the race and Fast & Fleurieu have already done 55 laps. On average about 2.5 mins to get around the track.... takes twice that to change the rider over. Great to have plenty of riders to cycle through, including a few new racers. Great team spirit to keep EFR's 3 wheels turning for the next 21 hours.... and counting down.

Today at Vic Park, EFR's 7 x Fast and Fleurieu Racers completed a whopping 179 laps, the fastest lap being completed in 1:42 at 46.5 km per hour. The gruelling 7 hour race under cloudy skies, light showers, and a shivering wind, with the occasional ray of sunshine saw us finish in 48th position overall, and 34th in our Community Category. We have riders aged somewhere between 10 years and 60 years! Thanks to our sponsors, Mt Barker Steel , Crowies Paints Moonglow Publishing and Rufus bus and coach, and LaurieGalpin creative accounting, and all our families and supporters! THANKYOU! Now for the next race... at the Bend. Watch this space.... :-)
