What an incredible example of how the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award helps young people become truly world ready 🌏

These students from PLC Armidale, who have progressed through Bronze, Silver and are currently completing their Gold Level, demonstrated outstanding teamwork, problem-solving and composure when they came across an injured hiker during their Gold journey.

They were able to put the skills they’ve developed through their Duke of Ed experience into a real-world situation — responding appropriately, working together, and making considered decisions under pressure.

It’s a powerful reminder of the impact these experiences have on young people and the confidence they build along the way.

A remarkable achievement and a credit to their training, resilience and teamwork 👏
