🍝 YEAR 8 FOOD SPECIALISATIONS 🌿

Our Year 8 students cooked up a delicious Spaghetti Bolognese, developing essential kitchen skills while creating a meal from scratch.

⭐ Boiling – Cooking pasta to the perfect texture.
⭐ Frying – Building flavour in a rich bolognese sauce.
⭐ Plating & Fresh Herbs – Finishing each dish with herbs picked fresh from our school garden. 🌱

Another fantastic practical lesson building confidence, creativity and lifelong cooking skills in Design Technologies – Food Specialisations.

EKKA PUBLIC HOLIDAY - LOGAN

STAR Excellence

A group of STAR Excellence students visited Edens Landing SS to talk to the Year 6's about the unique opportunities across our programs.

The visit was particularly special for Nevaeh, Parehuia and Zavian who are Edens Landing alumni.

Year 12 Film, Television and New Media collaboration with Retail Cosmetics

Our Year 12, Film, Television and New Media students are hard at work creating their final films for the year. The project requires students to look back on what they've learned in the subject, as well as filmmakers and styles which inspire them, to create a film that reflects their own artistry. Some students have been collaborating with students from the Certificate II in Retail Cosmetics course to create special effects makeup looks for their films. We can't wait to watch the final products!

ARTS EXPO 2026

Arts Expo is just around the corner! We've been working hard to prepare- sewing finals buttons on costumes, firing up our last clay creations and doing final edits the backing tracks. And we can't wait to see you.

Year 12 QTAC WORKSHOP

On Monday, students aspiring to pursue university as their post-school pathway participated in an engaging workshop with QUT. Current QUT students shared valuable insights into university life, offering first-hand advice and practical guidance to help our students prepare for their upcoming QTAC applications.
