We believe every child has the right to feel celebrated, valued and special on their birthday!💛

Each birthday at our centre is an opportunity to celebrate the wonderful little person they are. 🎈

Our birthday celebrations include a special birthday cake baked by our amazing centre chef Parveen, to enjoy with their friends, along with a birthday pack provided by our centre for the birthday child to enjoy. 🖍️🎨

It’s not about the gift, it’s about creating a meaningful moment where children feel recognised, included and celebrated as an important part of our centre family. 🥰

We love seeing the excitement on their faces as we sing Happy Birthday, share cake together and make their day feel just a little extra special! 🎂💫

Because every child deserves to know that their birthday matters, and so do they.❤️

Each day at Little School, we come together as a community to begin with our Acknowledgement of Country and Flag Raising Ceremony.

For our children, this daily practice is an important part of building respect, belonging, connection and understanding. It provides children with the opportunity to learn that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and connections to Country are an important part of who we are as a community.

Coming together each day matters. It creates a shared sense of belonging and gives children a consistent opportunity to pause, connect with one another and show respect. It encourages children to develop an understanding of culture, community and Country from their earliest years.

Our daily Acknowledgement of Country and Flag Raising Ceremony is more than a routine, it is a meaningful part of our everyday practice and reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive environment where culture, identity, respect and belonging are valued and celebrated.

Together, we learn.

🍰🌈 Weekly Cooking Lessons🌈🍰

Our weekly cooking lessons are always a highlight, and this week was extra colourful! 💛

The children had a wonderful time with Miss Marcia, working together to create a delicious rainbow cake. They loved measuring ingredients, mixing the batter, taking turns, and watching their colourful creation come to life.

Cooking experiences are a fantastic way to build important life skills while having fun. Through these hands-on activities, children develop confidence, early maths concepts, fine motor skills, communication, and teamwork, all while creating something yummy to enjoy! 🌟

Well done to all of our little chefs for their fantastic effort, and a big thank you to Miss Marcia for making learning so much fun! 👩‍🍳❤️
