Greenacre Public School serves a multicultural community with over 95% of the children coming from backgrounds other than English. The importance of literacy and numeracy is never forgotten by the school as it carries out programs which will ensure that its students develop their Basic Skills. The school has strong discipline, welfare, leadership & public speaking programs together and is very actively involved in Sport.

Little Munchkins Learning & Celebrating Father’s Day! 💙

Our Playgroup students have been busy learning, creating and getting ready to celebrate their amazing dads! 🥰
This week, our little ones made special Father’s Day cards and gifts, developing their creativity, fine motor skills and confidence as they worked on something meaningful for someone special. 🎨🎁
They then visited our P&C Father’s Day Stall, where they had the exciting opportunity to choose and purchase a gift for their dads. This was a wonderful learning experience as they practised making choices, handling money, taking turns and becoming more independent. 🛍️💙
The excitement on their little faces as they proudly chose their gifts was priceless! What a beautiful way to learn through real-life experiences while celebrating the special fathers in their lives. 🥰

What a wonderful afternoon of celebration, connection and family fun as we came together to celebrate all the amazing fathers in our school community! 🥰
Our fathers and students enjoyed an afternoon filled with games, delicious food, laughter and plenty of fun, creating special memories and enjoying quality time together. 🏈
A big thank you to all our dads, staff and community members who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special.

Visiting the Library

To celebrate book week our students had a beautiful time visiting Greenacre Library this week! 📚✨ They had so much fun playing games, singing songs and enjoying a delightful story together. It was a joyful morning filled with smiles, laughter and learning that helped nurture their growing love of books! 💛📖
