East Lismore Community Preschool

EXCITING NEWS !!!! We are getting ready to launch enrolments for 2027. For interested families, we are holding an open evening on Wednesday, the 29th of July 2026, between 6 and 7pm. We will then move into the next phase of enrolments with interviews. If you can't attend the open evening, please call us, and we will talk you through our enrolment process.

Just updating our preschool community on our new preschool. We have a roof, and the internal walls are going up. A great view over Wade Park from the upper deck.

At East Lismore Community Preschool, we are proud to support this year’s National Reconciliation Week theme, “All In”. We are committed to being all in for reconciliation through meaningful action, reflection, learning, and connection within our preschool community.

As we begin establishing our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP), we acknowledge the importance of taking the time to listen, learn, and build understanding. We are committed to learning more about the land on which we live, work, and play, and to honouring the cultures, histories, and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Through building genuine connections and creating a safe and inclusive environment for shared dialogue, we hope to foster respect, understanding, and a strong sense of belonging for all members of our community.

Just giving you a building update. The top slab has been poured Yippee. The views that we have over the surrounding parklands is amazing. Thanks to team Bennetts for coordinating all of this. We are super excited to be heading back home soon.

Just wanted to provide an update on our new preschool that is being built. The bottom level is complete, and we are moving onto the second level. Super exciting for our preschool community. Thanks to Bennett Construction for the wonderful collaboration.

This Friday the 30th of Jan we welcome our new children and families for our orientation day. Next Monday the 2nd we welcome all of our children and families back . We are all well rested and looking forward to seeing you soon

Well that’s a wrap . Thanks to our beautiful Preschool families for your love and kindness that you show to our educators throughout the year. Have a magical break with your children , please travel safe. For those leaving us for new chapters please come back and visit often . We are looking forward to 2026 and welcoming children back in the first week of Feb 2026.
