🌿 Launching into Learning Park Meet! 🌿

A little change to our usual Tiny Tinkers session tomorrow!

We’ll be having a park meet at Legana Recreation Ground (The Orchards) from 9:00am–10:30am.

All of our Launching into Learning families are welcome to come along for a relaxed morning of play, connection and getting to know other families in our community. 💛

This park meet will replace Tiny Tinkers for this week.

We’d love to see you there! 🌈

🎲 Reminder: Pre-Kindergarten is on today! 🎲

Just a friendly reminder that Pre-Kindergarten is on today from 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Today’s focus is board games. While they’re lots of fun, board games also help children develop many important skills for starting school. Through playing together, children practise:
• Taking turns and sharing
• Following rules and instructions
• Counting and recognising numbers
• Problem-solving and thinking skills
• Communication and social skills
• Building patience and resilience when things don’t go their way

Most importantly, board games provide a wonderful opportunity to learn through play while building confidence and friendships.

We look forward to seeing you all this afternoon for an afternoon of fun and learning! 😊

🌟 Pre-Kindergarten Returns Today! 🌟

A friendly reminder to all of our Pre-Kindergarten families that our session resumes today!

🕜 Time: 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm
👩‍🏫 With: Ms Spradbury

Our Pre-Kindergarten program provides children with opportunities to learn, grow, and build confidence through meaningful, play-based experiences that support a successful transition to school.

🎾 Today’s learning focus: Developing gross motor skills through fun catching activities. As children practise catching, they are strengthening their hand-eye coordination, balance, body awareness, concentration, and confidence. These experiences support the development of physical wellbeing and encourage children to persist, practise new skills, and enjoy active learning alongside their peers.

We look forward to seeing all our Pre-Kindergarten children this afternoon for an engaging session full of learning, movement, and fun!

As of Term 3, Amy Spradbury will be taking all Pre kinder and LiL groups.
The first Pre kinder will be Wed 29th at 1:30pm in Ms Spradbury’s classroom. Followed by Tiny Tinkers and Pre kinder on Friday the 1st of August.

Don’t forget to come along to a music and dance session on TODAY at 9am. Tonia from The Music Tree will be running the session in the multipurpose hall. This is open to 0-5s (including Kinder children).

Our last Pre K session, in our Kinder space, is on at 1:30pm today.
All Friday sessions will be run in the multipurpose hall and are all about movement and exercise.
Next week is the final week of term so there is no pre-kinder, but on Wednesday morning at 9 o’clock, Tonia from the Music Tree is running a music and movement session. All are welcome, including Kinder children.
