π Sea of Hearts for Reconciliation Week - 27 May to 03 June 2026 ππ
This year our school was excited to join ABACUS in the Sea of Hearts movement to create a sea of hearts across our multipurpose room for Reconciliation Week.
2026βs theme was βAll Inβ and each student was invited to design a heart that reflects what reconciliation means to them. Our goal was to create a beautiful display to celebrate unity, respect and connection. We are proud of what our students have created!

On Wednesday, we took part in the National Simultaneous Storytime and had a wonderful time sharing the experience with our buddies.
Together, we watched Luna Roo by Adam Wallace.
We discovered that the story is about a soccer-playing kangaroo named Luna, who proudly wears the Matildas uniform. Throughout the story, Luna demonstrates important qualities such as courage, persistence, and determination as she steps onto the field to play.
At first, Luna experiences doubt and doesnβt have much success. However, she shows great resilience by believing in herself, continuing to try, and growing in confidenceβdespite what others may think. This led to meaningful discussions about how practice leads to progress and the importance of believing in yourself.
After enjoying the story, we learned how to draw Luna and then completed a fun craft activity. It was a fantastic hands-on experience! Throughout the session, we also showed courage and bravery, especially when trying new things alongside our buddies.
It was a fun and rewarding learning experience for everyone involved! πβ½
