RE:- 4yo Kindergarten Offers.
The following provides an update of what we know with regard to kindergarten offers for 2027.
This is taken from Frankston City Council's website:

* Offers will 'start' on 28/7/26 for 4 year kinder offers only- council have advised that offers go out centre by centre, not as a mass email to all. This could take some time and is not instantaneous. Please be patient and refrain from calling the centre to enquire about your individual status. Our staff are extremely busy educating our current little learners and if we are inundated with 100+ phone calls, this takes staff away from precious learning time. Additionally, staff are unable to provide you with any additional information regarding individual offer statuses, they will only be able to repeat what is contained in this message post.

* If you feel you need a particular issue addressed with regard to your registration (prior to receiving an offer), please email [email protected]

* If you have anything you would like to address with regard to your offer (after you have received the offer from Council), please email [email protected]

* A common query is 'How do I select a group?'
- Answer:- please ensure you click the link on the offer letter, you will be given the opportunity to select your group preferences at this time. Once you have submitted this form, you will receive a confirmation email that we have received the submission. This email also contains information about our Group Selection Policy and how children are placed in their groups.

Please know that once offers go out and submissions are completed we aim to work through things as quickly as possible. It is an extremely busy time and truly appreciate everyone's patience. We understand families need to plan for the upcoming year and endeavour to keep families informed as soon as practicable.

Registrations for 4-year-old kindergarten for 2026 will be open from 1 May 2026.
On-time registrations for 4-year-old kindergarten close on 12 June 2026.
Please note: Positions ARE NOT allocated on a first in basis
All registrations are completed via the Frankston City Councils central enrolment system.

Registrations for 3-year-old kindergarten for 2026 will be open from 1 May 2026.
