IncluZone Langwarrin is brand new! Established January 2024, and taking expressions of interest for Mondays 10.30-2.30pm, Saturday out-and-about excursions, and waitlist enquiries for Tuesdays. Message me for more information, a meet and greet, or to discuss your personal, individual support needs.
Below are some of the excursions the school aged children have enjoyed over the years. These are available on Saturdays upon request for up to 3 children aged 6-11. You can also book any of these just for your child if they are more comfortable with one on one outings.
As I am an independent support worker, you may need to be self managed or plan managed to claim NDIS funding for my services.
Here's some information on the different ways you can choose to manage your budget

Meet our pets!
Chip the pug has grown up in my childcare service and for years has helped settle anxious children. When children arrive for the day they often call for Chip and if anyone is having an unsettled morning drop off, Chip is the one who relieves their sadness and anxiety. A true therapy dog.
Sana (Princess) and Murr (Murph, Smurf or whatever you like!) are our two British Blues. So chill and beautiful, they are gentle and so good tempered. The perfect cats to have around children.
Drako is our python. She (we didn't know until after we named her) is a placid diamond python who comes out when she wants a walk outside on sunny days. She is child friendly and just lovely.
Being around animals can have a profound impact on the lives of children, providing numerous educational benefits. The presence of a pet, such as a dog or cat, can help foster emotional connections and social skills in children. Interacting with animals can enhance communication and empathy, as children learn to interpret nonverbal cues and develop a sense of responsibility and care. The routine and structure associated with pet care can also teach important life skills, such as time management and organisation. The calming and soothing nature of animals can help reduce anxiety and provide a sense of comfort. Pets can serve as loyal friends and unwavering sources of support, creating an environment that fosters learning, emotional growth, and overall wellbeing.

Every child is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. Patience, empathy, and understanding are key. Together, let's create an environment where nerurodiverse children can be themselves without the expectations and demands normally placed on them by a neurotypical care and education systems! 🌈💪
Our children don't aim to fail. They are awesome and capable, talented and craving belonging and acceptance in a world that often doesn't "get" them.
My goal with IncluZone Langwarrin is to work closely with parents and children to provide a safe and supportive space for up to four children for four hours per session, allowing them opportunity to learn and explore their interests and strengths in their own way, in their own time. No pressure to do things a certain way, no expectation of sharing or teamwork that they are not ready for, space to work on activities or projects alone if they want to, the ability to make their own decisions and choices about how they need to or want to spend the session.
NDIS available.

🌟 Embracing Neurodiversity: The Power of Parallel Play! 🧩👥
As a parent and educator of neurodiverse kids, I understand and celebrate the unique strengths and differences of neurodiverse children. One of the strategies used to foster their development and socialization is parallel play. 🤝
✨ What is Parallel Play?
Parallel play refers to when children engage in independent activities near each other without direct interaction, but still benefiting from the presence of others. This approach recognizes that every child has different needs and comfort levels when it comes to social interaction.
🌈 Benefits of Parallel Play
💡 Promotes Autonomy: Parallel play allows neurodiverse children to explore their interests and engage in activities at their own pace, providing them with a sense of independence and control over their choices.
💖 Builds Comfort and Trust: By participating in parallel play, children gradually become more comfortable with the presence of others, building trust and reducing anxiety or stress that can sometimes accompany direct interaction.
🤝 Encourages Observation and Learning: During parallel play, children observe and learn from one another while engaging in their own activities. This can enhance their communication skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities as they witness different approaches and perspectives.
🌟 Vanessa's Approach 🌟
At IncluZone Langwarrin , you'll find a small supportive environment where parallel play is recognized as a valuable form of social interaction, ensuring that each child feels accepted and validated in their choices, fostering a sense of belonging and self-confidence.
We invite families who are seeking an inclusive setting for their neurodiverse children to try IncluZone Langwarrin . Together, we can create a space where parallel play is celebrated, allowing each child to thrive and grow at their own pace.
Let's embrace neurodiversity and create a world where every child feels seen, valued, and supported.
