On Friday, our students gathered fresh herbs from the garden to add flavour to homemade meatballs and pumpkin mash.

Sharing a meal we’ve prepared together sparked beautiful conversations, teamwork, and plenty of smiles. 😀

Cooking isn’t just about food-it’s about building social skills, collaboration and creating memories.

Mrs Green was very excited to unpack her new ride on mower today!!!
Mrs Green does an amazing job keeping our school looking fabulous and now she has a shiny new red mower to keep our grounds freshly mowed and manicured!!

Our PJ Disco was a huge success last night!
Everyone had lots of fun.

Celebrating Evelyn’s birthday yesterday!

This week in gardening Quokka and Bilby classes enthusiastically engaged in garden maintenance, where they fixed the stepping stones, weeded, planted new plants, and created natural fertilizer.

Our weekly garden lessons with Farmer Jesse link directly to the Science and PDHPE Syllabus Learning Outcomes, promoting understanding of living things, ecosystems, and sustainable practices.

Students demonstrated responsibility for caring for the environment while experiencing the rewards of their hard work, including discovering and enjoying some beans from the garden.

This not only fosters environmental stewardship but also reinforces practical skills in sustainability and teamwork!

⏱️ The Bilbies have been learning about duration in Mathematics.
Using stopwatches on iPads, they timed a range of activities and recorded their results in seconds and milliseconds.
Students worked collaboratively to measure, record and compare the time taken for different tasks while developing their understanding of how we measure time.
