Music is a powerful thing ♥️

Learning music activates multiple parts of the brain at once. Memory, attention, coordination, and pattern recognition all work together during practice.

Over time, this strengthens neural connections and supports cognitive growth. Studies have shown that even one year of music lessons can lead to noticeable improvements in IQ and learning ability.

Unlike passive learning, music requires active engagement. The brain is constantly processing, adjusting, and building new pathways.

Extra homework builds knowledge. Music helps build the brain that uses it.

A very big congratulations to our talented student Cleo Locock for winning her school talent quest this week 🤩

I am so incredibly proud of all of my amazing talented students who performed so well at our end of year concert! It takes a lot of courage to get up on a big stage in front of so many people to perform, I loved seeing all of their hard work shine bright 🤩

It can’t possibly be December already?? The calendar says it is, which means our end of year concert is not far away 🤩 We have been working hard all year and can’t wait to perform on the big stage! Don’t forget it is FREE ENTRY, so invite all of your family and friends to come cheer us on. All of the details are below, see you there! 🎄

We are incredibly proud of past student Mackenzie Lee Music who yesterday was announced as a Star Maker finalist!! Following in the footsteps of past winners like Keith Urban (and of course our teacher Kirsty Lee Akers who won in 2007) we have everything crossed hoping she takes out the big prize in January 🤩
