Please be aware that this affects the concert on Sunday. To ensure faster entry to the Leisure centre and so that we start on time, please download the SafeWA App 👍 (manual sign in will also be available)

A friendly reminder that mandatory sign-in to all Shire facilities is now in effect, this includes the following:

• Kununurra Leisure Centre
• Wyndham Swimming Pool
• Ted Birch Memorial Youth and Recreation Centre
• Wyndham Office/Library
• Kununurra School and Community Library
• Peter Reid Memorial Hall
• Kununurra Office – Meeting Rooms/ Council Chambers

For an effortless sign-in, the Shire recommends patrons download the ‘SafeWA’ app. A QR code is on display at all of the above venues. Alternatively, a sign-in sheet will be provided before entry. Records will be kept for 28 days and not used for any other purposes. The Shire has the right to refuse entry for those who do not comply.

We wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your cooperation. The safety and wellbeing of our community is pivotal during these uncertain times.

Due to a close family members death in Miss Manda’s family all this afternoon classes are cancelled. Tonight’s classes will be made up on the first Thursday of the school holidays - 9th July.

Classes start back today!
Please check your emails for the current timetable, which was sent out last week. Just a few reminders about how this afternoon will operate. The full restriction/instructions were also email last week.
Please bare with us through this awkward transition back to ‘normal’. ❤️

**The side door will open 5 mins before the beginners class each afternoon (2.25PM). Please wait outside with your child/children, respecting social distancing rules, until your teacher welcomes students inside.
**The door will then remain open for the remainder of the afternoon, until it gets dark. It will then be closed due to all the bugs attracted to the light and also safety reasons.
**Junior, intermediate, sub senior and senior classes please wait outside until the previous class has exited and your teacher welcomes you inside.
**Please do not be late for pick ups and drop off to ensure the smooth change over of classes.
**Parents are not to enter the building.

Good morning and Happy Mother’s Day!

With the announcement made this morning, we are so please to announce that term 2 dancing will recommence on Monday 18th May.
Please keep an eye on your email as enrolment will be open to our term 1 students from aprox 8.30am tomorrow morning (Monday 11th). I will then open enrolment to new students on Tuesday 12th May if there is space left in classes.
Due to the restrictions still in place, we are allowing only 12 students per class. Due to this reason, enrolment will need to be on a first in basis.
I will outline how term 2 will work in more detail, in tomorrow’s email.
