For anyone feeling saddened and outraged by the inhumane culling of brumbies that is currently going on, this is your chance to contribute to something positive.

I bought one of my most treasured horses, Memphis (many of my students favourite horse), through Kirralee and have witnessed how wonderful she is with training horses, including brumbies.

If you could spare just a bit you could help save some of these beautiful horses and give them a chance at a new life!

9 years ago my journey to be qualified Equestrian Australia instructor started, with my good friend Holly Reynolds and Shae Herwig at Byron Equestrian.

A lot of change and growth since then but it’s so nice to look back on where it all started, and remember how far we’ve all come and careers we’ve built ☺️

Also, look how dark grey baby Q was!!

Just two girls who have both grown a lot since they first met!!

1. Monique with Honey Bunny at 2.5 years old

3. Monique meeting Honey Bunny at 2 weeks old

I think in a few years from now these two may just be a riding pair!

😀☀️🦄 Holiday Saddle Club 🦄☀️😀

There are a few spots left for our Holiday Saddle Club program - come join the fun!

Saddle Club is suitable for kids 5 to 13 years old and is a fun and social way for kids to start out their riding journey, with a morning filled with horse riding and horsemanship.

Saddle Club is $95 per session with morning tea included.

It’s been another wonderful term of Saddle Club, with an amazing group of students, super horses and wonderful helpers! 👏

Billy is back 😊

Billy spent time with me a few years back, firstly for training and then for lessons for some lucky students.

Billy and his owner/ rider Max have continued lessons with me over the years and developed a great partnership.

Sadly Billy’s legs didn’t keep growing as Max’s did and the time has come for Max to move onto a bigger horse and Billy to find a new home.

And, I was lucky enough to get first offer on being Billy’s new home.

Thank you Karin, Paul and Max for entrusting me with your special pony. He will be very loved here.

This one’s a special one!

My beautiful boy, Cletus, graduated from just me riding him to his first student recently.

Cletus is a big, gentle giant with the sweetest personality and it was so special to watch him take the best care of his much smaller rider Monique.

Monique has been with me for many years now and has ridden everyone from tiny 10hh Vegemite to 17hh Cletus!

How cool is that! ☺️👏
