Sesame Lane Kippa Ring - Anzac Avenue At Sesame Lane Kippa Ring Anzac Avenue, we believe childhood is a time to explore, discover, and grow in a nurturing and supportive environment.

We are family-owned and a small 75-place service with 5 rooms. We have a high nature pedagogy and love connecting with the land, and community and building our confident learners through risky play. Some of the amazing things we provide are:
Japenese lessons
🐥 We have chickens, we have raised from them hatching with our incursion henny penny

🪴 to plate programs
💐Intergenerational program called Connection Club with Encircle
🌻Physical programs for example soccer
We have high nature connections and beautiful community gardens

💫We have been recognized for Excellence in Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.

Nutritional fresh menus
Swimming lessons
We also have amazing connections with the local community, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and engagement with our families. We love families engaging in our curriculum for example cooking lessons or football sessions. You are entitled to play and stay sessions where you can see how they transition in and head down to Coyote Cafe and grab a coffee on us.

🎨💛 Connecting, Creating & Celebrating Our Team!💛🎨

Today, some of our Anzac Avenue team got together for something new and for a little splatter painting fun!🎨✨

It’s so important to make time outside of our everyday roles to connect, laugh, try something new and simply enjoy being together. None of us had done splatter painting before, which made it even more fun!

This was another little way to continue showing our appreciation for the incredible educators who make Anzac Avenue what it is every day. 💛

And while some of us were busy getting covered in paint, our amazing ECTs are off enjoying their ECT Retreat, alongside fellow ECTs from across the company. 🌿✨ A beautiful opportunity to rest, reset, connect and engage in some amazing professional and personal growth experiences.

Different experiences, same purpose — investing in our people, strengthening our connections and celebrating the team behind everything we do.💛

We hope everyone comes back with full cups, great memories and maybe just a little paint still on them! 😂🎨

Paint , chats, Croissants, secret surprise 🌻

Today was more than simply asking R U OK? — it was an opportunity to slow down, connect and spend time with the incredible people who make our service what it is.

I am so fortunate to work alongside such a dedicated, hardworking and passionate team of educators who give so much of themselves every day to our children, families and each other.

Today we reflected on the importance of checking in — not only with those around us, but with ourselves too. 💛

We spoke about moving forward one step at a time, recognising that positive change, growth and a healthy mindset don't happen overnight. They begin with one small step, a willingness to have conversations, support one another and keep moving forward together.

Because behind the quality care, learning, laughter and beautiful moments our community sees each day is a team of people who matter too. 🌻

So today, and every day, remember to check in with the people around you.

Ask. Listen. Encourage action. Check in. 💛

Today we celebrate the people who make Anzac Avenue so special — our amazing educators. 🦉✨

Every day you bring patience, care, laughter, creativity and heart into our service. You create safe spaces, build beautiful relationships, support our families and, most importantly, make a difference in the lives of our little learners. 🌱

We are so proud of the team we are continuing to build and the journey we are on together. Through every challenge, achievement and goal, we continue to learn, grow and support one another.

This Wednesday, we celebrate our AMAZING educators and everything they bring to our children, families and service each and every day. 💛

Our educators work incredibly hard to teach, guide, nurture and support our little learners as they grow, explore and discover the world around them. 🌱✨

At Sesame Lane Anzac Avenue, we are committed to continuous improvement through monthly professional development, meaningful self-reflection, and collaborative learning.

This month, we had the pleasure of welcoming Miss Tiffany, our Head Cook Coordinator, who guided our team through professional learning focused on mealtime practices, nutrition, and creating positive food experiences for children.

Together, we reflected on our current practices, explored new ideas, and strengthened our understanding of how thoughtful mealtimes support children's health, wellbeing, independence, and lifelong relationships with food.
