ST DOMINIC’S GOES GREEN AT WINBOURNE!
Our Sustainability Group students kicked off an exciting new partnership with the Edmund Rice Retreat Centre, Mulgoa, helping launch the new Winbourne Ecology Hub Project!
Students recently rolled up their sleeves and started by removing non-native plants, clearing the way for native species to thrive and supporting local wildlife. This is real, hands-on stewardship of creation!
The Ecology Hub is being led by Br Jeff Regan, with Mr Godsell and Ms Tahan forming part of the project committee, ensuring our students have the chance to shape this Eco-Spiritual space over the coming years.
St Dominic's is proud of our young men, who are living out the Edmund Rice Touchstones in action.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Lest we forget ....

We’re proud of our St Dominic’s College Catechists who serve faithfully each week at Orchard Hills Public School, sharing the Gospel and bringing the light of Christ to younger students.
Recently, our Catechists attended the Annual SRE Catechist Mass with Bishop Vincent Long at St Nicholas of Myra Parish, Penrith, where they were recognised and presented with awards for their outstanding service to the parish community.
Their dedication, leadership, and compassion truly reflect the Edmund Rice Touchstone of Gospel Spirituality inviting all to the fullness of life in Christ.

CELEBRATING OUR ALUMNI
Today, the College paid thanks to an amazing part of the St Dom’s family, Mr Noel McLaughlin.
Noel has been an integral support person for the College Year 12 students throughout their trial and HSC examinations.
In addition to him providing support as a Reader, Writer, and Support person he has volunteered in classes supporting DL students, in Macqlit supporting our emerging readers, and exam support.
Noel’s commitment to supporting our students on a regular basis, driving up from his home in Canberra, is greatly appreciated. On behalf of the St Dominic’s College Community, we thank Noel – our gratitude goes beyond words.
