Book Week has always been one of my favourite times of the year, and this month, our feature story is The Very Hungry Caterpillar! 🐛🍎🍓🍊

It’s such a simple but special story for young learners. Through repetition, colourful pictures and a predictable story pattern, children can build vocabulary, practise sequencing and develop confidence in following a story from beginning to end. And of course, there’s a lovely little message about growing and changing along the way! 🦋✨

We’ve been so happy to see so many of our students dressing up for Book Week. We genuinely love every single costume, and we can’t wait to share more of their photos with everyone! 📚💙

In the meantime… our Kumon Madeley team has also transformed into a rather interesting bunch of caterpillars, a witch, a pilot, a wizard and Mario! 😂🐛🧙‍♀️✈️🧙‍♂️🍄

We have some seriously little learners at Kumon Madeley (Kumon Madeley Education Centre) and Kumon Dianella (Kumon Dianella Education Centre) … and they are doing SO well! 🥹💙

Meet Jasper (Jasper | Little Pianist), who is only 3 and a half years old, already showing us the power of routine and independence.

From getting himself ready for class, organising his folders, reading, doing Maths and packing everything away again, it is so special to see how much confidence can grow when little routines are practised again and again.

And Jasper is not the only one! We are so proud to have a growing group of Perth babies learning with us and becoming more confident, capable and independent every day. Babies of Perth 🌟

At Kumon Dianella and Kumon Madeley, developing strong young learners is something we are incredibly passionate about.

One of our favourite weeks of the year is here, and we can’t wait to see what our students have put together! 👑🧙‍♂️🦸‍♀️🐉

Whether it’s a favourite book character, something creative from home, or a costume that makes us all laugh, we’re ready for a week full of colour, imagination and a little extra fun in class. 💙

Remember, every time you dress up for class this week, you’ll receive an entry into our Book Week raffle, with a separate prize for our Best Dressed student too! 🎁

🏅 Our latest Advanced Student Honour Roll results are here! 🎉

And I am so happy to see so many new names joining the list this time! 💙

For some of our students, this is an extra special milestone because they will be receiving their very first Kumon medal! 🥹🏅

What makes me even prouder is knowing what sits behind these results. These students are not just completing work ahead of school level, they are learning to think independently, work through unfamiliar questions and challenge themselves with advanced material every single day.

That is what Kumon is really about. Building strong learners who are confident enough to keep moving forward on their own. 🌟

A huge congratulations to all of our Madeley superstars! I cannot wait to hand out those medals in November! 💙👏
