Dear BLCS Family and the broader Bengali community,

We feel happy to say that this year's Ekhushey Event has been absolutely wonderful. Seeing our young students leading much of the event with their performances and knowing the importance that the date which our International Mother Language Day falls under brings us happiness, to eventually see them grow up into leaders who maintain the mother tongue, and the Bengali traditions.

With that being said, I'd like to take the time to acknowledge those behind the preparation of the program; the many organisers, the event team facilitators, members of the school's management committee, the executive committee, teachers, parents and especially our children. Speaking of which, I'd like to specifically thank Inaya, Shreyan, ShNaajh, Kapil and Zaeemah

In the short amount of time and difficulties faced, you all have managed to deliver today's program.

I'd like to thank, on behalf of BLCS, Dulal Saha, Dhiraj Guha Biswas, Samik Bera's team, Photoghapher Salman Arif team, Goutum Dada and Drama director Anonnya and team.

I'd also like to thank our valuable guests Dr. Carina Garlend MP, Mr Julian Hill MP, Mr. Mazharul Chowdhury (Ex-president BLCS), Dr. Md Samsuzzoha (Ex-president of BLCS).

Finally, to end off the post, we would like to ask everyone to provide feedback about how today's Ekhushey Event 2024 went.

Stall Booking is now OPEN for Ekushey February (একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি) - International Mother Language Day hosted by Bengali Language and Cultural School (BLCS).

Date: 24th February 2024;
Time: 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM;
Venue: Westall Primary School Hall

Clayton South, VIC 3169

Admission $25 per stall.
Examples of stalls include:
# Finest collection of sweets/ savory snacks and various Bangladeshi cuisines.
# Traditional Bangladeshi dresses, garments, boutiques and jewellery.
Business sponsorships are open for $150 (A5) / $200 (A4) in SETU Newsletter publication with FREE Stall allocation
