πβ¨ WOW! What a spectacular way to begin Book Week β¨π!
Our school grounds were absolutely buzzing with energy, colour and pure imagination today ππ! We are incredibly proud of our students for their amazing participation. Seeing everyone jump in with such enthusiasm perfectly captured the wonderful spirit of our school and our absolute love of reading β€οΈπ.
It was particularly heartwarming to see our children dressed as characters from books they truly love π¦ΈββοΈπ§ββοΈπ. The absolute highlight was hearing them confidently connect their costume to their favourite character and, even more amazingly, proudly share the message of their book!
A massive, heartfelt thank you to our wonderful families and children for the outstanding effort, creativity and love poured into every single costume π¨π. Your support is what makes days like this so magical π«!
We also want to give a huge shout-out to our incredible staff π! The positive energy, smiles and enthusiasm you brought to the parade truly made it an unforgettable day for our kids π.

Let's Go Girls β½οΈ πββοΈ ! What an incredible season for our OLA Girls Soccer Team!
The girls won every match throughout Interschool Sport and Division Soccer, earning their place in the Regional Finals. They narrowly missed progressing to the grand final following a penalty shootout in the semi-final.
Throughout the season, the team demonstrated outstanding teamwork, determination and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of you all. Congratulations on this fantastic achievement πππ!
We are now collecting donations for our fete, and giving you a perfect excuse to de-clutter!
The toys the kids donβt play with anymore. The bottle thatβs been in the cupboard since Christmas. That bag of clothes still by the front door. Weβll take it all!
Weβre looking for:
π Books
π§Έ Pre-loved toys and games
π Second hand clothes
πΎ Bottles of alcohol
(No puzzles or shoes please!)
One personβs pre-loved is another personβs win on fete day - and every donation raises money for our amazing school. π
Donations can be dropped off at the school office.

π Our OLA SRC has been leading a wonderful initiative to bring more student voice into our beautiful library!
Students have been invited to suggest books they would love to see on our shelves, with selected titles purchased each term. Recently, one studentβs wish for a book about fish came true πβ¨!
Thank you to our SRC, Miss Riley and Mrs Grima for bringing this fantastic initiative to life and ensuring our students have a say in growing their library collection π π .

π¨ Weβre thrilled to be partnering with talented local mural artist Kyle Wakeham on a fully funded, student-led mural project!
This exciting opportunity has been made possible through a grant from the Suburban Rail Loop Community Projects Fund.
Our Grade 3β6 students were invited to share what they love about where they live and go to school. They created mind maps and drawings to bring their ideas to life βοΈ.
Stay tuned! Some of their wonderful ideas will soon be transformed into a vibrant mural on one of our playground walls. We canβt wait to see it come to life πποΈ!

ππ Learning about Mary ππ
In preparation for the Feast of the Assumption, our Grade 1/2 students have been learning more about Mary and the special place she holds in our Catholic faith.
Students brought their learning to life in lots of fun and creative ways, from creating beautiful Mary pin art π¨ to testing their knowledge with a Mary Kahoot! They also explored the meaning of the Rosary and learnt more about the Hail Mary prayer.
A beautiful way for our students to deepen their understanding of Mary and why she is so special to our faith πβ¨.
