SENIOR DRAMA PRESENT – OLDENS BUT GOLDENS

One scam. Two scams. Red scam. Blue scam.

Get ready for a hilarious romp through a world where nothing is quite what it seems!

The 2026 Senior Drama production of Oldens But Goldens, written by Gary Davis, is a fast-paced comedy packed with outrageous schemes, unlikely identities and plenty of surprises.

A married couple have a cunning plan: they pretend to be father and daughter so they can tie up the loose ends of their latest scam by hiding the ‘father’ away in a nursing home. But there’s just one problem…

The nursing home residents are running a scam of their own! 😱

As secrets unravel and scams collide, some of the oldies manage to get off scot-free, while others are caught red-handed. Who is scamming whom? Who can be trusted? And will anyone get away with it?

Come along for an evening of laughs, lies and dodgy dealings in Oldens But Goldens — where the golden years have never been so devious!

Public performances:
Monday, 21st September, 6:00pm
Wednesday, 23rd September 6:00pm

BOOK NOW: https://sacckingston.schoolzineplus.com/event/1360

Come for the comedy. Stay for the scams!

🩵 HOODIES FOR HAMISH 🩵

On Friday, we came together in our hoodies to remember Hamish, a former student of the College who passed away from brain cancer when he was in Year 2.

If Hamish were still with us, he would've turned 13 yesterday and would be in Year 7.

Happy heavenly birthday, Hamish. You are missed every day.🩵

Thank you to everyone who supported Hoodies for Hamish. Together, we raised almost $1,000 for the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation — an incredible result for a cause very close to our hearts.

Thank you for helping us keep Hamish’s memory alive. 🩵

🦺🚧 HIGH VIS ARMY IN YEAR 10 CONSTRUCTION 🚧🦺

Last week, our Year 10 Construction students had a hands-on visit from the Civil Contractors Federation - Tasmania High Vis Army Mobile Simulator Van! 🚧

The simulator gave students the opportunity to experience a range of real-world construction scenarios and operate heavy machinery, such as front-end loaders and excavators, and learn more about workplace safety, hazards and the importance of making safe decisions on site.

It was a fantastic way to bring classroom learning to life and give our students a taste of what they can expect in the construction industry. 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

A big thank you to Stuart and CCF Tasmania for bringing the High Vis Army experience to St Aloysius!

TRIVIA NIGHT 🎉 | A HUGE THANK YOU!

What a night! Last weekend, our wonderful P&F Association hosted their annual Trivia Night, bringing together our College community for an evening of fun, laughter, friendly competition and fundraising. 🧠✨

This year’s event included a raffle and silent auction, with all funds raised going towards supporting programs run by the P&F and the College, as well as purchasing equipment for our students.

And what a result! 🙌 More than $5,400 in profit was raised!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along, helped organise the event, donated prizes, participated in the raffle and silent auction, and supported the night in so many ways. We are incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors and to our College families, friends and wider community for helping make the night such a success.

Please support the businesses that support our College!

Interested in finding out more about our P&F and the amazing work they do for our College community? Join their Facebook group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/213687706845712

Thank you P&F for your dedication to our College.💙🤍💚
