Can anyone ethically hold billions while others struggle to survive? Is extreme wealth a sign of innovation and merit, or is it a sign of something more sinister? Do billionaires bear unique moral responsibilities, or is the very concept itself unethical?

These questions lie at the heart of our upcoming discussion. Join us as we examine the moral landscape of extreme wealth, exploring capitalism, justice, and whether billionaires can ever truly exist within an ethical framework.

It’s that time of the year again! After a full year of fruitful philosophical debates and discussions, it is time for the old executive team to pass the baton to another year of great thinkers and continue the legacy of the Philosophy Society.

We will be hosting our AGM on the 7th of October (Next week Tuesday) in Patricia Oshane (CLB) G02.
