A great book can stop the whole room.
“The very Itchy Bear’ is the book of the month and it is sparking lots of joy in the rooms.
We read together to build more than literacy, it grows empathy, imagination and the ability to see the world through someone else’s eyes.

The kinder children had a meaningful cultural infusion incursion with Darrin to recognise and appreciate the importance of Aboriginal culture. The experience began with the children listening to music played on the didgeridoo, and they excitedly guessed the Australian animals the sounds represented.
After the music, the children expressed their creativity by dancing to the sounds of the animals, moving like kangaroos, emus, and other native creatures. They were also given the special opportunity to touch kangaroo and possum fur, traditionally used to keep babies warm and comfortable while they sleep.
Happy Mother’s Day

Last Week we’celebrated Earth Day 🌏
Across the rooms, children have been exploring what it means to care for the environment in simple, hands-on ways.
We’ve been watering plants, feeding worms in the worm farm, talking about where things come from, and noticing changes in our outdoor spaces. 🌱 . Followed by an incursion by "Recycle Man", during which children learned about recycling waste and how it can impact the world.
These early experiences help children begin to understand responsibility, care and connection to the world around them.

We acknowledge ANZAC Day in an age-appropriate and thoughtful way 🌺
With young children, we focus on simple, meaningful ideas like kindness, helping others and being part of a community.
Through stories, art and shared conversations, children are beginning to build an understanding of remembrance in a way that feels safe and relevant to them.
