SOFIA UNSW (Student Orthodox Fellowship in Australia - UNSW) is the Orthodox Fellowship at UNSW We are a SOFIA fellowship.
SOFIA UNSW is the Eastern Pan-Orthodox Christian Fellowship at the University of New South Wales, supported by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Australia and Arc Clubs. Our society is open to all students, and allows those who come from an Eastern Orthodox religious background and those who hope to learn more about Eastern Orthodoxy to come together in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment.

Hey everyone, we hope you are well and excited to begin Term 2!
This week we have the blessing of hearing from our chaplain, Father Socrates, who will speak about the Holy Spirit. This is a very fitting talk as we continue to reflect on the feast of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, empowering them to boldly proclaim the Gospel.

Christ is Risen! Yesterday we had the pleasure of visiting the St Basil’s Nursing home in Randwick. Also a big thank you to Fr Miltiades for joining us at our paschal lunch.

Hi everyone, hope you’re well and ready for the final exam period approaching!
This week we have the blessing of visiting Saint Basil’s Nursing Home in Randwick. This is a wonderful opportunity to participate in missionary work and spread the Easter message! We will be meeting at 12pm at the Alumni Lawn and travelling to Randwick together. After the Saint Basil’s visit, we will also be having a Paschal Lunch together, which will finish at 2pm.
