Non Profit Organization working towards promoting and showcasing Poodles Today fifty five years later the goals of that original small group still stand.

In October 1955 a small group of dedicated Poodle breeders and exhibitors formed “The Poodle Club of New South Wales” to promote and showcase the Poodle. The Club is happy to offer help and information to new and existing Poodle owners. The Poodle Club of NSW Inc. is the “parent” club in New South Wales for the Poodle Breed. It is affiliated with The Royal New South Wales Canine Council (Dogs NSW)

General information

Membership of the Club is open to all Poodle owners or Poodle lovers. Your Poodle does not have to be a show (conformation) or obedience (performance) Poodle. The Club welcomes and in fact depends upon some of our pet members to assist in running the trials and shows, training days and manning our stalls at exhibitions.

NB: There is no such thing as a Teacup or a Royal Standard Poodle - these are names used in advertising as gimmicks.
When other breeds are bred to Poodles the resulting puppies are cross breeds and are not recognised breeds.
The Codes of Ethics of both the Poodle Club of NSW and the RNSWCC forbids members using their registered stock with unregistered stock or registered stock of another breed.
