Well Melissa , but everyone else calls me Mel ( I actually still say Melissa 😂 )

I started working for myself 13 years ago now in a little upstairs room that I painted all pink 😂

It was just me! And I think $100 was the max I ever charged anyone 😅

Fast forward to now and I now have a huge warehouse in Kedron brisbane that is home to and and 😍

To say it has been a wild ride is an understatement, but to be honest I can’t live without a little crazy in my life .

I have 2 little babes under the age of 3 and I am currently also renovating my home 🏡.

I juggle working within and on each of my businesses , and it does get a little overwhelming at times , but to be honest I have learnt to handle it really well , but it took a very long time !

This page is dedicated to helping other individuals grow their businesses successfully without having to be comedians or post every day on their socials .

I love finding like minded individuals to connect with and make each other feel like all the crazy sh*te we go through is totally normal ❤️

I never planned on being an entrepreneur. In fact , I never really planned anything 😆.

The pieces to my life have just sort of fallen into place , but the older I get the more I have started to truely realise what it is that I really want in life , which is to provide for and spend time with my babies and my man.

I’m a business woman , but at heart I am a horse riding bush bashing , camping water lover .

To finish off with , I had ADHD , loads of anxiety and I spend way to much time comparing myself to others .

I’m more confident in my work than I am myself and I know that confidence is something SO many people struggle with .

When you believe you CAN and you believe that your just as worthy as success , happiness and achievement as any one else on this planet , then you CAN .

If you asked me 5 years ago if I would have 2 babies under 3 , and STILL be striving and growing one of Australia’s most renowned hair extension brands , I would have said pffft , no way .

But I could have given up when I had my babes , or I could have decided I didn’t have the time for it anymore , or I couldn’t put in 100% anymore. But I didn’t .

Your MIND , is your strongest tool , and once you decide that you have a goal to hit , or a milestone to make , and you put that in the forefront of your mind everyday , you make it happen.

DON’T underestimate your strongest tool .

And where your mind goes , your body will follow .

When you believe your not good enough , you won’t be .

When you believe you can’t do it , you can’t .

When you believe that the sky is truely the limit , you will reach farther than you have ever reached before.

Keep going .

There is no regret more regretful, then the regret of not giving it 100%

When I was working for myself 6-7 years ago , I was petrified of what I was going to do for income if I ever decided to have a family ,

Was I going to have to sacrifice not having kids for my business ?

Or was I going to have to sacrifice my business to have kids ?

I would never have imagined that not only could I not sacrifice EITHER , But that I could truely excel at both at the same time .

I put it down to 2 things .

1. I had and end game and and end goal, and I sacrificed living any sort of lavish life and emerged myself in risk knowing it was either grow or die .

2. I had a village when my babies were born, to help in every single way to enable me to mentally and physically still put 100% into both aspects of my life .

Was it and is it easy? No not really to be honest . It’s extremely tiring juggling both , and stressful at times along with knowing it really won’t get much easier for quite some time .

But is it worth it ? Yes , it’s worth still working on being a great mum, and business woman , knowing I’m creating a future for my family and myself .

You don’t need to choose one or the other , and I would never ever push someone to sacrifice having a family in order to be successful in business ,

But I will push you to make plans and goals so that you can have both . You just have to believe that you can .
